    Players aren't going to want to walk to the stadium in an underground walkway. You need for a road to be close for people to be dropped off close to the stadium. I think we both know a stadium on the water isn't going to happen. One by the water would be cool and probably the place they are going to have to put one as there isn't much room elsewhere.

    I don't think its feasible even without the planes. The traffic would be insane trying to move that many people across a bridge plus you wouldn't have any underground parking for players and employees. The Molson Amp takes like 30 min to get out of the venue after a concert, could only imagine what 40K would at a baseball game.

    I don't think the hotel is moving. Marriott just bought it and did some renovations on the entrance way.

    Doesn't really work like that. Better to just look at overall projections of win totals given the roster and work your way from there. What happened last year will weigh into projections but adding wins from players isn't as easy as adding the wins from last year to next year.

    Not really sure what you could do monument wise but I'd like to see the walls lowered across all of the OF and the dimensions change. Maybe have a shorter distance to LF which won't be a bad thing when Vlad and Bo come up.

    I don't like the idea of giving Hernandez everyday ABs to start the season. He'd be fine as a 4th OFer if you get a LH bat like Bruce or Cargo but guys who strikeout as much as he did in September without walking usually don't have success right away.

    I like him in his role on NBC for football but it just sounds really weird for baseball.

    Really wish ESPN had the rights for the games after the wildcard game. Bob Costas and this colour guy are frustrating to listen to.

    Worked well with Happ, was a disaster with Morales. You look to find value no matter what time of the offseason it is.

    They would still be subject to the bonus pools, no? Most teams have already spent most of their $ so its not like they would be getting $20 Million.

    Yeah some great deal for him.. he still only gets like 25% of his true value on the open market.

    To be fair he had a pretty significant hip injury last year. He's played through a few injuries the last couple years which probably is likely going to take its toll in the later years.

    If you can get away with the contract ending after his age 36 season then that would be a huge win. That's the year where it seems there is a massive drop off in performance.

    I would have to think it's about under the table money or along the lines. Its well known almost all of the international signings commit well before July 2. Teams have basically already signed the guys for next year.

    Well not really. They would have signed him long term already if that was the case. They obviously like him as a player but it always depends on the cost.

    With all the Home runs in the game you don't really need speed as much. Lowest amount of stolen bases in recent league history this year.

    Zobrist can't play SS anymore that's for sure. Even at 2nd base his days of being average there could be over.

    Future bets you really need the odds to be good for it to be worthwhile. Just having your money gone for almost a year is a loss in itself.

    Assuming you mean 4/100 plus his next year of Arb. Even then you're going to have to give him more per year to appease the union.
