  1. Wow!
  2. I must say MSG crowd is back to being the best in the NBA. What an atmosphere.
  3. Crowd is in the Raps head.
  4. 28-0 run lol. I mean the Knicks have played amazing but christ.
  5. This has to be one the worst Quarters in franchise history. Everyone just looks terrible.
  6. JV really needs to get traded/benched. Just isn't good.
  7. When's the last time an MLB player got shot/robbed?
  8. I don't really get this. Its not like players live in the slums or dangerous areas of the city they play for. When they go out they're probably taking a cab anyway.
  9. I saw they will be under the same bonus pools but that teams might be able to use $ from next year's pool as well. If you make them true FA that just incentives other players to try to find ways to say they were improperly signed in the future so they can make more $.
  10. Well now the Braves will be operating like the Orioles for the next few years. Disregarding IFA
  11. With all of the Braves prospects going back on the market that creates more demand as well. Not just about Ohtani...
  12. There's a difference of him taking 500K less and taking $3.4 Million less. The union would be pissed if he took 50K as that's basically pennies. I bet if he decided he wanted to go with the Jays they would have to trade for more cap space so the signing bonus is at least respectable.
  13. Kevin Maitan will likely be available as well.
  14. Ngoepe looks awful. Worse hitter than Ryan f***ing Goins.
  15. Russ Martin has worked out pretty well.
  16. Jays one looks like one of the worst. I like the white panel but the red leaf is awful.
  17. He's still projected for 2.2 WAR and I think the name+ his intangibles would get him more $. He for sure would get more than 1 year unless you mean you mean he'd take 1 year to try to rebuild value.
  18. I'd take the Over of Tulo getting $30M on the open market. 3/58 isn't crippling even with him being 33.
  19. Apparently the Rays plan to only contribute around $150 Million of the $800 Million it would cost for a new stadium.
  20. Boston says otherwise. It's really teams now understand how valuable the 3 point shot is so the point totals are increasing.
  21. Biggest problem with Tampa baseball is a fair share of people are snowbirds and leave in the summer (Lightning are number 1 team in city even ahead of the Bucs) and like someone said a lot of people are from somewhere else and already have teams. I've gone to Tampa/Clearwater a few times and almost all of the locals I meet are from up north who moved there. Also the summer time is so hot you need to have a roof of some sort like Houston or Miami. Not many people are going to want to sit there when its 35 Degrees and 80% humidity.
  22. I don't think you can really move JV to the bench at this point he's been a starter for too long. That's why its best off trading him. He's good against more traditional Centres but outside New Orleans there really aren't any. And he's a net negative in that he gets exploited on the defensive end more than he is a positive on the offensive end against smaller lineups.
  23. JV is a good rebounder but that's about it. His lack of defensive ability in rotating and the PnR just drags his value down too much. Everyone has waited for him to take the next step but he basically is what he is at this point. Him and Ibaka are also terrible together so something has to give.
  24. I think the X factor with Delon is the 3 point shot and like you said his agressiveness. Its obvious he can be a good defender with his length and his ability to drive to the rim and finish/dish is very good. He's shooting above 95% from the line so you would think he should be able to shoot the 3 at an average clip. Although his percentages would go down with him facing starters instead of the bench units he's usually facing. I'm pretty excited with this Raps group. They really do need to make a trade though as they have 11 players deserving to be in the rotation but its too many. JV would be the most obvious choice but I don't think any teams want to take on the contract/give anything up.
  25. Kenny R was reporting the Rays may blow it up this winter. Makes sense to deal Archer etc.. I could see them taking one more shot and then having a big sell off at the deadline if they aren't in a playoff spot. Small market teams almost have to have cycles of competing and rebuilding now that the big market teams are way smarter.
