  1. If he's putting up 7 WAR next year and they're only a .500 team then something went extremely wrong.
  2. I don't believe that for a second. Say a team is willing to trade a Tatis JR and a couple lower level prospects then Donaldson will be gone in a second even though it makes their team worse next year.
  3. The Jays are believed to be a favourite for one of the top players in the 2018 class. Orelvis Martinez, ss, Dominican Republic Martinez is a strong, physical righthanded hitter who stands out for his offensive upside. He's 6-foot-1, 190 pounds with a compact swing, good bat speed and power, and with how much more size he projects to add down the road, it's likely he moves over to third base. His bonus is expected to push past $3 million, with the Blue Jays the favorites. 4. I know he's probably not going to be good but please play Urena 4/5 games for the rest of the season over Goins and Barney. Just refreshing to see someone other than those 2.
  5. Donaldson prolly just wanted to get out of the game
  6. embarrassing when you are a catcher and complain about a called strike in the zone.
  7. f*** Farrell and these 2 out no one on base pitching changes.
  8. Why the hell am I still watching this. (Pretty sure I said that 5 innings ago and every inning since)
  9. Mookie has 60 DRS over the last 2 years. That's crazy
  10. Pearce has such an ugly bat path. Looks like JD Martinez pre-swing change.
  11. Wonder if they thought about PR for him. Although with that throw likely didn't matter if it was Zeke.
  12. If you look at his splits he hasn't been that bad in August. Strikeout rate is down but he's also not walking guys or giving up the longball.
  13. Must have gotten tips from the Pats
  14. Nice to take the regular season crown. First day of the playoffs and my hitters go 1 for 30, great start.
  15. Yeah but you still would trade them for the right offer. It'd be stupid not to listen on any player in trade talks.
  16. You never have any untouchables.
  17. He's got a .335 ISO this year and that's playing at one of the worst hitting parks in LA. Had a .290 in 2015 as well. Probably not an 80 because now there are so many guys like Stanton, Judge and Gallo but he's close I'd say.
  18. lol Pompey is basically Travis without the big league success. Actually might even be more injury prone.
  19. Why do people bash players that want to test FA, its their right lol. Doesn't really matter what they ask for, a team is going to pay what they are willing to pay.
  20. Don't think that's very realistic. At 37 years old theres probably a big drop off much like Bautista. Bautista looks to be in relatively good shape, took great care of his body and was a better hitter than Donaldson was. JD has had a lot of calf problems and that hip injury he had doesn't make me feel great about him in his late 30s.
  21. Wonder how much Jay Bruce will get. I expect the Jays to target him as they apparently liked him a lot over the last 2 years.
