It takes two of tango, so if Vlad wants to leave then there's not much the Jays could do, but I think he's the player the front office is going to give an "unreasonable" contract to (12-14 years, big money), and I think they'll be less likely to do that for Bichette. Of course I am basing that off nothing but that's the way I see it ending up. If they have to pick one or the other, it will be Vlad, and if they have to give a superstar contract out, it will be to Vlad too. Of course if they can find a way to keep both, even better.
