  1. Don't have time to do this as comprehensively as I've done in the past. Probably won't be doing Baseball America or FanGraphs lists either. Here are the best players available based on MLB.com's draft board (zoom in or open image in new tab for best results): Updated: 7:39 PM - 2019 Draft Complete!
  2. I miss you too bud. I just can't stand to watch baseball anymore. Too many hours, too many games for a sport where nothing matters until August anyway. Doesn't help that this team is an unwatchable s*** show. I never thought baseball would ever stop being my top sport but for the past few years, I haven't been able to muster up nearly the excitement for this game as I have for basketball and hockey. I don't know if I've even watched 5 full baseball games since Donaldson went down.
  3. Did he just use manchild as a compliment?
  4. Sorry I was late this year guys. Have had a lot of work and I'm sick as f*** right now. Do people still want a Best Player Available graphic? I'm not gonna do Baseball America or FanGraphs this year but I can still do MLB.com.
  5. It's still a joke to me that this trash franchise never picks in the Top 5.
  6. Jeff Passan: Designated hitter Kendrys Morales has been traded to the Oakland A’s from Toronto, a source with knowledge of the deal tells ESPN.
  7. Well, to be fair, if the 8-year-old is your child, you'll have much more of an emotional interest in the game. Whereas pro games truly are meaningless to the average person, unless you're dumb enough to bet on them.
  8. It's the annual "steal of the year" deal with OOTP going back on sale. You can pick the full game up right now on Steam for $5. https://store.steampowered.com/app/619290/Out_of_the_Park_Baseball_19/ Not sure how long the sale will last. If you're a fan of the series, or even curious about it, I'd pick it up as soon as possible. Bonus: If you're a fan of Lord of the Rings or Lego, the Lego LOTR game is free on Humble Bundle right now. https://www.humblebundle.com/store/lego-the-lord-of-the-rings There's also a $1 bundle of the Sonic the Hedgehog games, which I didn't even know existed for PC. It's "pay what you want" and you can customize your purchase to go entirely to charity. https://www.humblebundle.com/games/sonic-bundle
  9. Made a thread about this on Reddit, thought I'd share it here as well. They have a lot of 2015-2016 playoffs gear as well as a bunch of departed player gear, all for ridiculously low prices. A few days ago I was actually able to snag an authentic Canaday Day Josh Donaldson jersey for like $80 (was the last one they had). They still have a bunch of t-shirts and hats for under $5-$10 as well as random collector's items. *I would have linked all of the items here individually but since I can't use any of this forum's formatting tools anymore, I've just left the reddit link.
  10. I remember how a lot of people here wanted to draft Orimoloye. I can't remember if I was on that bandwagon or not but I remember being salty when some mocks put him on the Orioles and the cucks at Orioles Hangout started cheering because his name contained the word "Oriole" in it. This is a good piece to bring back for a month of Granderson.
  11. This isn't a great post. If they had to force him on the field it doesn't mean he was faking an injury, it could mean he was genuinely sore and the Jays were pushing him to play so they could still get something for him. Faking an injury is obscenely stupid for someone in Donaldson's position. Not only did it f*** up his free agency value, a trade allows him to play in the postseason and potentially regain some value, and it also helps him ditch his QO. There was literally no good reason for Donaldson to hinder the chances of him being traded. I can't see a professional athlete shooting themselves in the foot that many times just to be petty, certainly not when there are agents and family involved.
  12. If the return is Erik Gonzalez like Ang just said, Shapiro is pretty much just doing the Indians a solid by handing them Donaldson for a playoff run. That does not look good.
  13. If the return is less than the draft pick compensation the Jays would have gotten for Donaldson, I'm going to be pretty salty.
  14. Why does the quick reply box no longer have a toolbar attached to it with bold/italics/font, etc? And typing ctrl+B no longer bolds text. And I have to click reply twice to respond to someone, and instead of quick replying it takes me to the advanced reply page... which also doesn't have a toolbar.
  15. The Jays signed 18th rounder Fitz Stadler for 100K.
  16. More bonus announcements: Round 02 - Griffin Conine: Signed for 1.35M Round 17 - Austin Havekost: Signed for 100K Round 19 - Adrian Ramos: Signed for 125K Round 23 - Troy Squires: Signed for 1K Round 38 - Francisco Ruiz: Signed for 100K
  17. Tweet wasn't visible. Fixed formatting.
  18. Updated the list with signings that weren't reported by Callis/Mayo: - The Jays signed 9th rounder Jake Brodt for $5,000 - The Jays signed 10th rounder Cal Stevenson for $5,000 - The Jays signed 11th rounder Hunter Steinmetz for $125,000 - The Jays signed 14th rounder John Aiello for $125,000 - The Jays signed 20th rounder Vinny Capra for $1,000 - The Jays signed 22nd rounder Gage Burland for $1,000
  19. I didn't even really want Liberatore and this still makes me salty for some reason. Signing concerns my ass.
