  1. "Kirk bout to steal one... maybe not." - Jimmy Rollins
  2. Ray will make the best pitch you've seen all season and the worst pitch you've seen all season in the same at-bat.
  3. Montoyo tanking for Kumar. 5D intergalactic Yahtzee.
  4. This dude looks like Craig Robinson.
  5. It might be the most Yankees voodoo magic ******** ever that the Jays were up 4-1 and they were down 0-3 and then the Jays promptly blew their lead while two Marlins got injured, including the starting pitcher.
  6. Why? It's a must-win game for them if they want a shot at jumping from 8th seed to 5th seed.
  7. Feel like this is going to be looked back on as the first big domino to fall in a series of major opt outs till the season is eventually cancelled.
  8. I'm not sure who Stewart Mandel is but this take makes me hate him more than almost any other human on the entire planet.
  9. Apologies for taking forever to update the original post. Everything is up to date now (not that it matters anymore).
  10. lmao, Brasier got in his own head after that error. Meatball.
  11. Do you really not have any recollection of all the "FiLaMeNtS" memes when the new turf came into play and players were splaying all that black s*** every time they slid?
  12. Aside from the lost money, which is obviously significant, he basically got the best case scenario for both his near term and his future by falling to the Jays. They have by far the best chances of becoming a contender out of those top 5 picks (all of the other teams are hot garbage) and have by far the best projected lineup to make his offensive numbers look better down the line.
  13. Sorry for how late I am on this and for not being around for Draft Day coverage for the first time in a long time. Been incredibly busy lately between work, planning a move, and my wedding coming up in a couple of weeks. Was incredibly excited to find out about the Martin pick when I did. Looks like the Jays had a banger of a draft in general. Gonna have to start making more time to start following baseball on a closer level again. Some notes: The Jays have $7,454,825‬‬ remaining to sign both Frasso and Martin. If Frasso were to hypothetically sign exactly for slot, that would leave $6,905,825 leftover for Austin Martin. I don't see the Jays sacrificing future first rounders (give me that Kumar, baby) so they'll have to make do within these parameters. Don't want to jinx it but Martin doesn't really have a whole lot of leverage so hopefully it all gets done sooner rather than later. Sources for the above signed picks: [Rd 2] CJ Van Eyk | [Rd 3] Nate Palmer | [Rd 5] Zach Britton | [uFA] Harrison Ray | [uFA] MacKenzie Mueller | [uFA] Zac Cook |
