  1. I almost threw up a little at Girardi's ridiculously obvious teleprompter-voice.
  2. Am I the only one who thinks Mize is kind of a boring consensus 1:1?
  3. The likelihood of Kelenic not being on the board for the Jays pick is enough to constipate me, but if he's actually there and they pass on him, I might have an aneurysm.
  4. Manfred's hairline though. Jesus.
  5. Kelenic is far and way my top target for the Jays pick. I'm not a huge fan of Swaggerty and would take Kelenic over him in a heartbeat.
  6. Did Harold Reynolds just say he'd take Kyler Murray 1:1?
  7. Nick Madrigal - 2B | 21 Years Old | R/R | 5'7" / 160 LB Scouting grades: Hit: 65 | Power: 40 | Run: 60 | Arm: 50 | Field: 55 | Overall: 55 Travis Swaggerty - OF | 20 Years Old | L/L | 5'11" / 180 LB Scouting grades: Hit: 55 | Power: 50 | Run: 60 | Arm: 55 | Field: 55 | Overall: 55
  8. Working on this thread while working at the same time, new job is pretty time consuming. I don't know if I have enough time this year to manage the Baseball America Top 500 this year, not with how little time is left until the draft and how much formatting it'll take now that BA no longer has a list but instead includes scouting reports with everybody. I'm keeping the MLB 200 going this year and I'll switch out BA with FanGraphs Top 100.
  9. If you could go back and wipe the quotes by SAAviour and King I'm sure it'll help the people trying to scan this thread on mobile or lower power browsers. I'm personally not getting any lag with the forum in terms of loading pages, but I'm seeing a huge delay in when comments actually appear and triggering the "read/unread" status modes on the main page.
  10. You are very cool and edgy. Yeah I asked if someone could send me the Top 500 list so I could make a "best player available" board for it like I do each year. I meant that to be sent via PM. Anyway, instead of posting the Top 500, Hurl posted regional lists for every state, which then got quoted twice. SAAviour quoted it the first time, and when I asked him to edit his post, BJMB's local edgelord King decided to quote it again. Forum isn't giving people enough issues already, need more people suffering from little-dick syndrome to flood the boards with more mile long posts out of spite. Lag the forum and crash other people's browsers on draft day, that'll show em.
  11. Can you please edit your post and remove the quote? There's no need to quote a post that long to make such a short comment on it. Thanks.
  12. Kinda want the Jays to aim for the #1 draft pick.
  13. Not gonna lie, going through the last several pages of this thread was pretty funny. Start of May everyone was roasting tercet and acting like he had no chance of winning the "bet", then the same people were biting their nails at the end of the month hoping Teoscar didn't get one extra plate appearance in May. tercet came one Teoscar PA away from making everybody look stupid and getting the ultimate validation. Instead, he lost the bet to himself, and then directed an "stfu liar" comment also towards himself. I hope this forum never changes.
  14. Send me the BA 500 list when you get a chance.
  15. This. I prefer players with mature tools over loud tools. I'd take someone with advanced command over someone with a 100 mph fastball and I'd take a guy with advanced plate discipline and contact abilities over someone with elite speed or defense. Like any other strategy, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I would have taken Aaron Nola and Kyle Freeland over Tyler Kolek in a heartbeat and I would have laughed my ass to the bank. At the same time, I would have taken Alex Jackson and Max Pentecost over Trea Turner and regretted it in the long run. I still think my thought process will hit on more prospects than the average, so I stick with it.
