Stroman was slotted in as a 6th starter originally and he took the place of Korecky on the roster. Korecky replaced Rasmussen. The net result is Korecky gets added to the 40 man and in a round about way Jenkins replaces Rasmussen and Stroman replaces Hendricks.
Was a zero difficulty play for Reyes which is why it's all on him. He had no reason to make that play the least bit challenging. That being said we've seen EE make harder catches at first. The ball just kicked out of his glove. He was obviously dissapointed. Janssen pretty clearly yells out "f***!" on the replay.
One of the worst things about last night's game was that it ruined a great play by Bautista. If that play had helped preserve the winning streak, it's quite possibly the highlight of the season and definitely a memorable Jays moment. Instead it will go down as one of the season's best plays but a bittersweet memore for Jays fans because of what followed.
You could see by EE's reaction that he really thought he should have been able to bail out Reyes. Bad losses happen, this one was just compounded by having it both end end a winning streak and put to waste a career highlight play by Bautista.
He just got super excited about Giambi's hit. I didn't mind it myself but a lot of people were upset because they felt it came off like cheering for the opponent. They started calling for his head at that point.
