  1. That's why I'd like to know if he's still throwing with the same repertoire. If he's still the same two pitch pitcher, regression seems inevitable but if he's added a third pitch, it could be a turning point although you would think if that were the case the K rate would be higher.
  2. You want to give up one pick and get two higher picks in return?
  3. It's all about that David Price trade now. Must be tempting to move him sooner rather than later lest he gets injured or something.
  4. Lott on Delabar: http://sports.nationalpost.com/2014/06/04/toronto-blue-jays-steve-delabar-making-mechanical-adjustments-to-get-back-on-track/
  5. I just sent you three names for Cleveland so that you can make their pick even if I'm not around.
  6. Is he still just a two pitch guy? I always thought his development was thrown off track by not letting him develop that third pitch in the minors.
  7. He's an imbecile because he couldn't read your mind and know what the f*** you meant?
  8. I think this is true of 99% of outfielders which only reinforces your point that he's playing too shallow.
  9. I can't see how the eye test and the stats would at odds here anyways. There was a lot of complaints about Rasmus being poorly positioned and not getting to balls that a CF should get to this year. He's looked bad and the stats are merely confirming the eye test in this case.
  10. So what would you do with him?
  11. Also when I redid the Cleveland pick, I gave Gettys to them and then Adams to the Braves.
  12. I edited my post (see above). There's more information here (http://www.bluebirdbanter.com/2014/6/2/5774064/neil-wagner-placed-on-disabled-list-sent-to-florida-for-re-evaluationand) and it seem like you're right and there are no other options. Wagner, Stilson, Rasmussen, Drabek, Nolin, basically everyone who might be a candidate for a call up is banged up right now.
  13. Hasn't Wagner been activated from the MiLB DL for awhile now? Edit: Never mind. I just saw that he was only placed on the DL on June 2. I guess I'm just not on top of the latest news and it seem from this article that nearly everyone is banged up in AAA: http://www.bluebirdbanter.com/2014/6/2/5774064/neil-wagner-placed-on-disabled-list-sent-to-florida-for-re-evaluation.
  14. I'm not saying you're wrong but I don't understand this if it's true. Unless I'm wrong about him having options, I don't see why you wouldn't send Delabar to the minors to work out his issues there when you have the luxury to do so with impunity. This is doubly true when you consider that a really good reliever in Wagner is being wasted down there instead of him.
  15. Yep. There it is in plain sight. Somehow I skipped over it when I was crossing names off my list, probably because I was up right after it.
  16. So what happened with this? I don't see JFAS's pick of Reid-Foley anywhere.
  17. He had to warm up twice. That's probably worse than if he had simply started the ninth as originally planned.
  18. We had a really long discussion about some guy who was not in AA yet but was in the pool and undrafted and I got that mixed up with Butler. Maybe it was Herrera (who sucks now anyways).
  19. Never mind got Butler mixed up with someone else. Butler went in the waiver draft (or whatever that's called).
  20. So what happens with Butler starting on Friday? http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/06/03/rockies-calling-up-pitching-prospect-eddie-butler/ I assume this takes him right out of the draft?
