Goins hit .150. How convenient that you phrase that as merely under .250 and yes I realize that you could argue Kawa will regress to below .250 and Goins will regresses to above .200 but why would even entertain the disussion of swapping them well while Kawa is still doing well? If they're not going to bring in someone from outside the system, the Jays should at the very least ride the hot hand for now and maybe, just maybe the Goins for Kawasaki discussion will have some validity down the line but given how overmatched Goins was this season and how decent Kawa has been, it's downright embarassing to be making the argument now. That someone other than Gruber would actually try to do so is borderline surreal.
