All depends on how quickly and how dramatically Tulo declines becauses Reyes was definitely a write off at this point. Hard to imagine Tulo being as bad.

I think AA's perception of loss of autonomy simply comes from Shapiro having more baseball acumen than Beeston. That was bound to happen with any decent Beeston replacement unless that replacement was AA himself.

I can't see Shapiro being too enamored with a 40 year old knuckleballer. They really seem to emphasize hard throwers in Cleveland.
