The previous ceiling on a a Sanchez start was one where he spaced out the walks and babiped his way to not giving up runs. The ceiling has moved. How consistently will he reach the ceiling he flashed last night? We still have no idea. There's plenty of tests to come, particularly against patient lineups. For all we know, this will never be repeated but Sanchez showed something last night that he had never shown before and that's obviously a good thing. Potentially, a great thing.
