    I doubt that. He's pretty balanced. He never discounts scout opinions completely and he's not actually "an analytics expert", not by any stretch even if Sportsnet wants to call him that. He's just a regular sports writer who understands their importance, in part because he's also covered economics.

    He wrote a pretty good book about The Rays and an excellent book about The Expos. He was also the main baseball writer for Grantland. He's a Montrealer originally.

    Keri is a very easy going guy. This won't be like Hayhurst. There won't be fireworks. Keri will use humour and self-deprecation to defuse potential arguments.
