No, the score does not revert to the last completed inning. Everything counts up to the point the game was called. Had the visitors tied the game or taken the lead in the top of an inning that had no bottom, the game would be suspended and picked up from that point. #Bluejays
So we can potentially clinch home field with a win tomorrow and a Seattle loss! Would be fantastic to have 2 games where we can rest guys like Chapman, Bichette, Springer, Vladdy.
With the Rays loss, Jays have now locked up the 2nd Wild Card worst case scenario. Win 2 of 3 in Baltimore and they clinch 1st WC and home field! Hopefully game 162 is meaningless and we can rest our best BP guys and have Manoah, Stripling and Gausman starting for the WC series!
Who would you rather face? TB or SEA?
Well looks like we get the Trash Berrios tonight? Never seen a pitcher that can K 14 guys in one start and then can't miss a bat the next. He's so inconsistent. Definitely should not be starting in the WC series.
This rule needs to be taken out! It's absolutely ridiculous! What exactly was Kirk suppose to do there? Imagine if a call like this costs a team a playoff game or worse yet decides the World Series. Way to ambiguous of a rule. Even when.the Jays benefited against the Twins I thought it was stupid.
This team is so baffling this year. They go on the road and take 6 of 7 from the Yankees and BoSox and pretty well tear the cover off the ball and then come home and get swept and looks like they completely forgot how to hit or play defense. They've got the Cubs and Pirates coming up, two of the worst teams in the league. Hopefully they can turn things around.
Chapman deserves full credit for that win! We have anyone else at 3rd base and we lose that game. He's been by far the best pickup we got in the offseason. His defense single handedly wins us games! What a win!
