  1. Another nail bitter, but just keep the wins coming! Good to see Romano's velocity back where it should be, was concerned after his last outing that he was injured. Likely just fatigued.
  2. My first game was June 28, 1991. Jays lost 3-1 to the Mariners. Kelly Gruber hit a homerun for the Jays, the only run they scored that game. Jay Buhner hit a HR for Seattle. I was 9 at the time and I just remember how huge I thought the stadium was. We were in the 500 level and I remember thinking it was the longest hike ever up the ramps all the way to the 500s. https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/TOR/TOR199106280.shtml
  3. Is this the game that finally gets the bats going!
  4. You know the bats are struggling when Teo can't even hit a low 90s fastball centre cut. That should of been crushed.
  5. Huge DP right there! Very fortunate to come out of that only down 1 run.
  6. Huge bases clearing triple! We are the last time in the MLB to finally get a triple.
  7. Huge relief that Romano's unavailability tonight wasn't injury related as he was throwing in the bullpen. Hopefully Borucki can fill in for Mayza as it sounds like he will be out at least a couple of weeks. Borucki looked solid tonight.
  8. Wtf is this lineup? Chapman leading off, he literally has one of the worst OBPs on the team.
  9. Kirk is such a liability on the bases. How are you not sliding going into second there, absolutely zero excuses for this at the major league level.
  10. Romano always needs to make it scary, why can't we ever have an easy 1 2 3 ninth.
  11. Finally a decent lineup tonight! No Tapia, no Zimmer, when is the last time this happened? Lol
  12. It's literally his first game back! Why push it with 2 games in the same day? This is a smart move imo. Imagine if he got re-injured and then was out for months instead of weeks. Ease him back in.
  13. If Dumbtoyo doesn't pinch hit Springer for Zimmer he should be fired on the spot.
  14. Guess Judge and Rizzo both decided to man up and get vaccinated
  15. Gotta say I'm extremely pleased that we finished our first month 14-8! Considering we are missing our #1 catcher, our cleanup hitter and our #3 starter. We have also had an extremely difficult schedule to start the season with the exception being Texas. Our run differential is even with an expected W/L of 11-11. We've been good, but also extremely fortunate to win so many 1 run games. I complete opposite of last season. This is definitely a 100 win team! Once our bats get going I see a lot of wins in our future.
  16. If it let me post screenshots here I would!
  17. The most stressful inning of my life! Romano just make me over 8k! Parlayed a $100 money line bet and the under @ 8.5 runs when the Jays went down 3-0. Romano you are a my hero!!!
  18. Nice comeback inning by Stripling! He's actually pitching pretty well! Just got burnt by the shift that cost 2 runs
  19. I wonder if odds makers factored this into consideration? This could easily add 4-5 wins for the Jays, Especially considering they will play 18 home games against the Yanks/Bosox who will be missing some key players.
  20. Springer probably hurts himself though, maybe Charlie saved us from a Springer injury lol
  21. How does Dumbtoyo not use Springer in this situation? We are winning in spite of him, he's worse then Cito.
  22. Tell me your racist without telling me your racist. Was this comment really necessary?
  23. Well its an improvement 4 runs in the first only 2 in the second, lets aim for 1 next inning lol
  24. Do tiebreaker games count towards regular season stats?
