  1. Kirk is such a liability on the bases. How are you not sliding going into second there, absolutely zero excuses for this at the major league level.
  2. Romano always needs to make it scary, why can't we ever have an easy 1 2 3 ninth.
  3. Finally a decent lineup tonight! No Tapia, no Zimmer, when is the last time this happened? Lol
  4. It's literally his first game back! Why push it with 2 games in the same day? This is a smart move imo. Imagine if he got re-injured and then was out for months instead of weeks. Ease him back in.
  5. If Dumbtoyo doesn't pinch hit Springer for Zimmer he should be fired on the spot.
  6. Guess Judge and Rizzo both decided to man up and get vaccinated
  7. Gotta say I'm extremely pleased that we finished our first month 14-8! Considering we are missing our #1 catcher, our cleanup hitter and our #3 starter. We have also had an extremely difficult schedule to start the season with the exception being Texas. Our run differential is even with an expected W/L of 11-11. We've been good, but also extremely fortunate to win so many 1 run games. I complete opposite of last season. This is definitely a 100 win team! Once our bats get going I see a lot of wins in our future.
  8. If it let me post screenshots here I would!
  9. The most stressful inning of my life! Romano just make me over 8k! Parlayed a $100 money line bet and the under @ 8.5 runs when the Jays went down 3-0. Romano you are a my hero!!!
  10. Nice comeback inning by Stripling! He's actually pitching pretty well! Just got burnt by the shift that cost 2 runs
  11. I wonder if odds makers factored this into consideration? This could easily add 4-5 wins for the Jays, Especially considering they will play 18 home games against the Yanks/Bosox who will be missing some key players.
  12. Springer probably hurts himself though, maybe Charlie saved us from a Springer injury lol
  13. How does Dumbtoyo not use Springer in this situation? We are winning in spite of him, he's worse then Cito.
  14. Tell me your racist without telling me your racist. Was this comment really necessary?
  15. Well its an improvement 4 runs in the first only 2 in the second, lets aim for 1 next inning lol
  16. Do tiebreaker games count towards regular season stats?
  17. This will be the first time since the 6 division format started in 1994 that 4 teams from the same division win 90+ games and only the second time in MLB history (happened in 1978 with 7 teams in the AL East). I will argue that the 2021 AL East is the best division in MLB history. Crazy to think a team with 91 wins might miss the playoffs, hopefully not the Jays. https://baseballcloud.blog/2021/09/24/divisional-diversity-4-90-win-teams-2-100-win-teams-0-90-win-teams/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=divisional-diversity-4-90-win-teams-2-100-win-teams-0-90-win-teams
  18. Red Sox literally trying to give this game away, come on Nats gotta score here!
  19. I believe this is the first time in franchise history we have 4 players with 100 RBIs or more in one season!
  20. Can't blame Richards there. How the f*** did he even hit that out? Down and in out of the zone
  21. Much prefer the baseball format where only the elite teams make the post season. Was a complete joke last year that the Habs made the Stanley Cup finals literally only because they had a hot goalie. I think the current setup is a good balance, the only thing is I wouldn't mind the wild card being a best 2/3 instead of winner take all. The new wild card format is much better then under the 1 WC system we had before, gives more importance to winning your division.
  22. Not really! It's true most Americans don't give a s*** about others and are selfish. Have a look at the covid deaths in the US compared to Canada or any other country around the world for that matter. The numbers don't lie.
  23. I had no problem with Borucki doing that in this situation. The game was already out of reach. KK is a douchebag, glad he got plunked. Borucki did it the right way, didn't throw at his head but definitely got the message across. He gets maybe 2 games max, if he even gets suspended at all.
  24. I actually wouldn't mind playing @ Fenway. We seem to always play well there and less pressure the being at home. Though would be awesome to see the electricity at the RC for a Wild Card game.
