  1. I love the concept, but for $2 more you can just buy a cheap 500 level ticket and guarantee yourself a seat and still have access to all these outfield district viewing areas as well. If they are gonna offer this general admission ticket with no seat, it should be significantly cheaper or have exclusive standing room access areas for those tickets only. Why wouldn't you just buy a $22 500 level ticket instead, at least if these areas are packed you have a seat to go back to. https://www.cp24.com/mobile/news/toronto-blue-jays-introduce-20-outfield-district-tickets-1.6309325
  2. David Phelps just announced his retirement. He was solid in the pen for the Jays last year. He will be missed for sure.
  3. Wouldn't touch Bauer with a 10 ft pole. Even before this whole controversy of the alleged assault, the guy was never liked by his past teammates and has a few loose screws upstairs. The guy would be a locker room cancer, not something we need. This guy is a ticking time bomb.
  4. I would 100% be on board for going after Bellinger on a short term deal. Maybe a 1 year $12M with a team option for another year with a $2M buyout. I definitely think he is worth the risk, and even if his bat doesn't come around, he's still an elite defender and gives us speed on the bases and no dumb speed like Teo.
  5. Any chance they are going after Judge, and really going all in? Imagine Judge replaces Teo, don't think anyone would be too upset with that.
  6. Tapia at $5.2 M is a hard no. Suprised Bichette's projected Arb amount isn't higher then that? Thought it would be closer to $10M
  7. In all honesty, I think it's a no brainer, that Kirk is the Catcher you trade of the 3. He's got the most trade value by far. His numbers really dropped off in the second half of last year and I think he is primed to regress. Sell high on this guy while you can! Moreno has proven that his bat can play at the MLB level and we all know his defense and ability to throw out runners is elite. Janssen is a capable DH when he is not catching.
  8. Would love to see a Cleveland/San Diego WS. Cleveland has the longest current WS drought (1948) and San Diego has never won it. Would love to see either of these teams win for their fan bases.
  9. Biggest collapse in post season history? This is worse then when the Leafs blew the 3-0 lead against the Bruins in the third period of game 7.
  10. Let's so our character Boys and win this!! Let's Gooooo!!
  11. Asking Romano to get 6 outs is alot to ask. Basically means he won't be available tomorrow if we win tonight.
  12. Berrios has been much better at home then on the road. I say start Berrios on the shortest leach possible. Can usually tell within first couple of batters if he's got his A stuff or not. Have Stripling waiting in the wings. If you need to pull him in the first inning, do it.
  13. Wow an absolute meatball right down the middle. Manoah is too amped up. Needs to settle down.
  14. Yeah sound is way off. Sound is like 2 seconds ahead of the video, weird.
  15. Thought this deserved a new thread! What do you all think should be our 26 man roster for the WC round and starting lineup should be for game 1?
  16. Is Jesse Litsch still with the organization? Call him up for a spot start ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜‚
  17. Looks like they might get the game in tonight! Weather will clear by 9pm, so maybe just a delayed start
  18. No point in playing a double header Wednesday now assuming tomorrow is rained out. Hoping they just play a single game Wednesday.
  19. Per Mike Wilner Mike Wilner @Wilnerness ยท 1h No, the score does not revert to the last completed inning. Everything counts up to the point the game was called. Had the visitors tied the game or taken the lead in the top of an inning that had no bottom, the game would be suspended and picked up from that point. #Bluejays
  20. Weather not looking good in Baltimore over the next few days. What happens if games get rained out? There is no extra days now to make up games??
  21. So we can potentially clinch home field with a win tomorrow and a Seattle loss! Would be fantastic to have 2 games where we can rest guys like Chapman, Bichette, Springer, Vladdy.
  22. With the Rays loss, Jays have now locked up the 2nd Wild Card worst case scenario. Win 2 of 3 in Baltimore and they clinch 1st WC and home field! Hopefully game 162 is meaningless and we can rest our best BP guys and have Manoah, Stripling and Gausman starting for the WC series! Who would you rather face? TB or SEA?
