    Put Leo Gimenez on the 60-day Add the Final Boss of all slap hitters, Michael Stefanic Option Roden Stefanic will show the team how to properly slap hit with a .300 AVG and .310 SLG. If you think about it he could really ignite the offense by showing other slap hitters like Vlad and Bo how it's done.

    Remember that time we actually did stumble into a bon a fide ace? We drafted Manoah and with almost no minor league development he turned into a CY Young finalist. Only for him to be on the verge of eating his way out of the league in just one offseason. 😐

    Wow, more unprovoked attacks. Like most of the other top baseball minds, I usually start drawing conclusions around early to mid May. I can't say that I'll ever be fully on board with your Debbie Downer style of rageposting, but as I stated last night: even I am having trouble polishing this turd of a team right now. But that said, Spanky is our fearless captain and if he says we are still in it I am still riding with Team Positive. So get used to the Ric Flair gifs pal, because until Spanky says otherwise they aren't going anywhere and neither is Team Positive. Get bent and Go Jays

    It's nearly mid May, we have a worse run differential than the White Sox, and we just got boat raced by one of the worst franchises in professional sports

    Yeah I think we have too many lefties right now but he does look pretty good. As soon as Lauer implodes they'll get Walker back up here.

    Wow I let up on the Jose "Urethra" comments (which got zero likes btw) for just 5 minutes and I'm getting tarred and feathered for it You people are impossible to please

    I can only assume that Ross Atkins will be all over this after Urethra gets lit up tonight

    Urena could be okay tonight. He's okay against righties and the Angels, who are bad as it is, only have one decent left-handed hitter in Schanuel. Urena is a groundball pitcher who can't strike anyone out so maybe he will play up a little with our back-to-back Team Gold Glove defense behind him?

    Richards was an interesting pitcher for us. Every year he'd go on one of those runs where he would be a 3 inning pitcher and would look pretty unhittable. Then toward the end of the year he would completely suck. I could see the Jays signing him after Urethra gets blown up tonight.

    Urethra vs. Anderson Berrios vs. Kikuchi Bassitt vs. Soriano First time we've faced a bottom feeder team all season unless you count the Nats. So it's basically a must win series and we've got Jose Urethra on the hill for Game 1 tonight. 😐

    The Rangers winning the World Series on the strength of their lineup only to end up firing that same hitting coach 18 months later is more proof that anyone can win if you simply get in to the playoffs.

    Yeah Green and Y-Rod don't look very good. If Lauer flames out, and that could happen any appearance for him, I could see him getting dumped and Walker coming back up.

    Yeah I think best case scenario both guys would return around then anyway.

    Agreed but with Little, Fluharty and Lauer already in the pen they opted for the righty instead.

    Yeah the Lawrence's and Lauer's and Urena's are all discardable. That can change if they pitch well but I highly doubt Urena lasts the year on the team. They seem to be making this a bigger deal than the Lawrence pickup though. Not sure that means anything though.

    The earliest Scherzer can come back is May 29 and Swanson can come back May 26.

    Yeah the sooner the better. Not only do we have an open 5th spot but Francis looks like a gas can. Turnbull is a pretty fragile guy though. Hopefully he can get up to speed quickly but I wonder if they'll be careful with him.

    On a positive note, Josh Walker is looking pretty good in his SSS so far this year 5 innings, 8 KS, 2 BBs and a 1.66 FIP. Getting BABIP'd but otherwise looks good.
