    He got hit on the hand by a pitch and left the game. But he but took X-rays which came back negative so he's just day-to-day.

    Hate to beat a dead horse but while we are talking schedules, the Rays schedule continues to be a joke. They get 4 games against the ChiSox next. So far they've played series against Detroit, Washington, Oakland, Boston, Cincy, and the White Sox twice. They've yet to play the second series against the White Sox but they only lost once against those teams. The only series they've played against contenders are the Jays and Astros. Lost to the Jays twice and the Astros once with another game tonight.

    The Jays schedule from May until about mid-June is pretty tough. The teams we face in May are a combined 51 games above .500 and June isn't much easier. Next series in order starting on May 1: @BOS @PIT @PHI ATL NYY BAL @TB @MIN MIL @NYM HOU MIN @BAL Then on Jun 16th it really softens up until the ASB.

    The early returns on Berrios and Kikuchi have been HUGE. Backend of the rotation was the biggest question mark entering the year and those two are looking good so far.

    I think he needs some time (the rest of his career) in the KBO where he belongs. I’ve been saying it for years but if this guy’s dad wasn’t in the HoF he’d be out of professional baseball by now.

    It’s hard to keep track off all the internet debates I win but I remember this well. It started with Vlad (not Berrios) after he posted a video of him taking some swings in the DR. And you forgot to mention that your argument was soaked with racism about how Dominican players shouldn’t go home in the offseason bc all they do down in the DR is goof around on the “sandlot.”

    Not even his fault really. The only thing Santana can even do against lefties is hit home runs. Schneider was the problem there.

    It's not that. The team is stacked so they've got to get everyone into the lineup somehow. They are definitely looking at matchups and what hitters excel against certain pitch types and things like that.

    Yep, the one-pitch dude that gets rocked by righties in the 3-batter minimum era who gave up the tater that got us bounced out of the playoffs last year. That's the guy.
