    No I would save Swanson for later on. Middle of the 5th inning against the bottom of the lineup is a waste of his talent. He’s our top “lefty” imo. The use of Mayza was fine I guess but I don’t think he’s very good.

    I know Mayza is our only lefty in the pen but I think he should pack his bags and head to Buffalo. Pearson has to be better than him and Swanson and Richards can be the "lefties" given their splits. LHP in the pen isn't as important anyway with the 3 batter rule. They often seem to run into more trouble than they are worth with that rule in place. Mayza is fine as an up and down guy but he just doesn't have good stuff and Schneider trusts him way too much. Pack your bags Tim!

    So what do we think of Schneider yesterday? He went to Mayza against the top of the lineup in the 6th inning. It was one of those games where everyone is getting used. And I get why he went with Mayza with the two lefties up, but man, you are really setting yourself up for trouble with Mayza vs. Goldschmidt as the third batter. Swanson has reverse splits and is miles better than Mayza. He's got to be considered the top lefty in the pen for now and I would have used him against the top of the lineup.

    There should be an imaginary line/barrier on the field of play/dugout/whatever you want to call it. Both sides should be able to yell whatever they want short of the N-word but nothing physical should ever cross the barriers. So in the terms of the pathetic proposal, that guy is in the wrong because he crossed the barrier and should have been shot by snipers before he even got down on one knee. In Rendon's case, which is far more understandable IMO, he crossed the barrier and is in the wrong and should probably receive a 10k fine and 1 game suspension.

    Disagree. He's apparently already out of jail and is uninjured. He got off way too easy. They should have snipers positioned at the top of the stadium trained to blow his head off the second he steps onto the field. Or maybe dogs trained to rip people like this to shreds. Or at least lock him up for a couple of decades.
