    Yeah he would probably be awesome in RF or maybe even CF.

    It's pretty crazy. We are 6th in the league in overall wRC+ and OPS+. About 109 and 110 for each I believe. Not sure where this ranks among the league but our OPS+ with RISP is 86. That's about what the Oakland A's are hitting on the season. No idea what is going on but it's dragging us down to about 11th in MLB in runs.

    Brutal game. We had 8 hits and 5 of them were doubles. But we went 1-12 with RISP and struck out SEVENTEEN times with 0 BBs so we couldn't even manufacture a loan run.

    Yeah the price for just a half season of Ohtani alone would be insane. Could transform a fringe WC team into a contender as it nets you a playoff ace and elite bat all in one.

    Call me crazy but is there any chance at all that the Jays kick the tires on Ohtani if it's in the 500-550 million dollar range? I think Rogers would at least have to consider it. Might be the best baseball player since Babe Ruth and he seems like a huge draw. They've probably got some TV execs crunching numbers.

    Steve Phillips said he gained weight but he thinks he lifted more weights and gained more muscle mass in his upper body this past offseason. This tightened his arm action and lead to a decline in his stuff. No idea if he knows what he's talking about but it does make some sense.

    I wish they would have hired him as well. But does he really look like the type of guy that would choose Toronto over Texas? What we should do is bring Gibby back. Will never happen as long as Atkins is around though.

    And then we play Tampa with them having homefield advantage. The divisional series will be easy to lose.

    Yeah I'm not feeling great about Bassitt's age 35 and 36 seasons at 21 mil a pop right now.
