  1. LOL this f***ing guy actually trolls his own fans by cheering on the Cowboys against the Eagles in Philly and posts pics of it on Twitter. This is EXACTLY what we need on this team another Twitter internet warrior!
  2. Nah...shortest chick I've ever banged is 5'8...she misses the height cutoff by one inch.
  3. Too bad Rajai is gone because this problem was already solved this year. Except when you have an 8-man BP and an injury-prone team where both Davis and Lind have to start...doesn't get implemented.
  4. Then maybe the Jays should trade Stroman for him.
  5. The man was benched for most of the World Series in favour of career all-star David Ross. Whether or not you see logic behind my particular argument that benching should be a sign that he isn't exactly the solution to the Jays backstop issues.
  6. Saltalamacchia would be a disaster here. Basically a slightly better version of Arencibia and with the bright minds in this organization could easily turn him into Arencibia. Pierzynski has a rep of being the world's biggest *******, even bigger of an ******* than the guys we already have on this team. I can see him not being a disaster on the field but a huge one off the field with this volatile clubhouse. That leaves the other two catchers mentioned as viable candidates with McCann being pursued by everybody.
  7. They really ruined Lincoln's trade value last year...barely gave the dude a chance. Honestly the best thing they can do...see if they can try to deal him back for Snider. Both guys have pretty much been rendered useless on their new teams. Might as well undo that trade.
  8. Yeah...something like that first pic...I'll admit pic #2 isn't bad. Danielle Lawrie can be described with adjectives and superlatives that would be considered complementary if talking about a man, not so much when talking about a woman. She's massive....she's a total beast...she's a real workhorse.
  9. Looks like a smart play to me!
  10. She looks like a horse without it too...face it she wasn't gonna get a baseball husband and family based on her natural looks so a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
  11. Meh...so he's unfamiliar with the gestation period of human beings...still doesn't mean he's stupid!!! I stand by my prior remark.
  12. I wonder why people just throw things out like he's dumb...maybe they feel inferior to his athletic abilities so they have to make assumptions about other aspects of his life so they feel superior than him in some other way. He's an intense character with a ton of bravado and a short fuse but nothing I have seen would make me consider him dumb. Unless you shared a math class with him, you don't really have much evidence to comment on his intelligence one way or the other.
  13. My gosh you sound like one of these typical arrogant Toronto leftist NDP types - preach tolerance, freedom and acceptance, but as soon as something goes against your personal feelings you're as fascist as they come. The Argos have been in this city 100 years longer than the Jays, people like them and its a viable business. They have a right to be here. You use attendance figures that would have rivaled Jays attendance figures not too long ago as part of your argument but salaries in the CFL are what? 10% of MLB salaries, if that? It would be like me saying I don't like those gay bars and other pro-queer businesses in the Church/Wellesley area. Probably a lot of other people don't like them either. They are blocking prime real estate to turn into even more condos. But there are others who do like them and they are viable businesses so what is my right to say they shouldn't exist? Gotta put in an example that you NDP types can really sink your teeth into. As far as having the NFL team here....sure people would like to have one...I'd like to have one too. But it isn't even the Argos that are stopping that from happening...it's the Bills. So until Ralph Wilson croaks which will be another 3 or 4 decades at this pace don't expect the NFL here just yet. And if/when there is an NFL team here, that doesn't mean the CFL team won't be viable. It's 8 extra home games, the seasons don't overlap that much and the crowds aren't necessarily the same. The city could support both much like they do with the Leafs and Marlies.
  14. Probably because he's one of these douchebags that thinks Toronto is too "good" for the CFL...yeah let's just throw away the oldest pro football team in North America because this guy doesn't like it. I swear what a douchebag thing to say. I don't particularly care for soccer but I would never say get rid of the Toronto FC or that the MLS sucks because I don't like it. I'm not a huge CFL fan but I've gone to a couple of games and I enjoyed them.
  15. It's too bad Bautista is so injury prone already. I would have thought that with him being a late bloomer and with his fairly small frame that he could be one of those guys that are productive late in his career. It doesn't look too likely now.
  16. And Bautista never had problem fielding fly balls with the Dome's lights on lol
  17. "Why do they deserve a second chance?" Well, every city in the modern era that has lost their only MLB baseball team eventually got one back: Milwaukee Kansas City Washington Seattle Permanently striking Montreal off the list would be the first time MLB ever did that. Unless you want to count Brooklyn as its own city, which I don't.
  18. Reminds me of Mark Wohlers. Sign him to a league minimum deal, send him to a shrink and see if that helps.
  19. Make a deal with the baseball gods...they each get 11 starts next year, but all 11 starts are dominant. They combine to co-win the Cy Young award.
  20. 9 for 9 on the basepaths now. That's what irks me the most out of all of this. We know the Jays didn't give up an elite hitter but he goes from 12 for 18 here to 9 for 9 there in SB. How do you make a complete 180 degree turn on stolen bases? Hitting I can understand but base stealing ability and speed should be something fairly consistent I would think. He was dogging it here. He only had 18 attempts versus 9 attempts already in KC so I don't know how he could have been so good at picking poor spots to steal here. If he had at least been something like 30 for 35 on the basepaths then the Jays AT LEAST had an elite PR threat late in the game if nothing else, especially since Davis was given an expanded starting role. But no, Bonifacio had to be a burden here in every possibly aspect of playing baseball.
  21. You just know these 14 games are the prelude to him playing like Kenny Lofton for the rest of his career. 14 GP in KC. 8 walks, 8 for 8 on the basepaths. .404 OBP. Un-f***in-believable. You can say small sample size all you want, but he has already produced more use for KC than his time in Toronto, even if he K's in every at bat from not to the end of the season. There's got to be someone to blame for this.
  22. What I don't understand is that Beeston was around for: Barfield for Leiter, trading an established star and fan fav for a young pitcher. Trading popular and over rated Junior Felix for unloved Angel Devon White Alomar/Carter, Fernandez/McGriff deal. Convinced Clemens to sign here, no matter how many shady promises he made outside of the collective bargaining agreement. He was around during a time when the Jays made all the right moves and had a very progressive philosophy. What happened this time around. Was that just all Gillick?
  23. I disagree with Napoli. People look at the deal in isolation when it was clear the purpose of the trade was to dump Wells. Getting anything back for Wells was amazing. I'd be happy with nothing, so even if we think of Francisco and Rivera as worthless assets, the Wells deal in its entirety gets a free pass on Napoli imo. Thames ended up in Delabar which might not have happened without his MLB experience. Thames taking away time from Pittsburgh's fourth OF or Davis is not something I'm crying too hard over. Overall it was an ok decision in my view. Cordero, yes terrible. JPA after this season needs to have his playing time diminish. But prior to this one there was a glimmer of hope he'd improve. A Lind/Davis platoon definitely should have been implemented sooner. Is that AA's fault or Farrell's? Or the fault of lack of depth where Davis and Lind needed to be in the lineup at the same time which falls back on to AA.
  24. I was happy at the idea that the Jays were "going for it", I was less thrilled about the actual content of the trades themselves. I think that's a not-so-subtle difference that can't be overlooked.
