  1. There were so many GIFs that I wanted to post. So I'll just post the page link. http://www.pbh2.com/entertainment/sexiest-gifs/
  2. I think this is the definition of selling high. Looks like I unloaded him just in time. In his 3 starts before the trade he went 22.2 innings with 0 ER. He must have wanted to jack up his own trade value so that he could go to a contender. In all fairness though, Lawrie has yet to make a start for me..
  3. Crazy's good in very small doses.
  4. I think they should actually go for the LOB record today... none of this half assed s***.
  5. It is art! It's a little scary already...
  6. Another cat tattoo... http://blog.videobox.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/cattattoo2.jpg
  7. ....Really, you never heard of Cespedes before? And I don't think Oakland would trade him, AA would have to overpay for sure.
  8. Turns out the Leafs weren't the only crazy ones going after Clarkson. The Oilers actually offered him more money but he turned it down to come to Toronto. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/report-oilers-outbid-leafs-for-clarkson/
  9. I know. It hurts me seeing that. But I think Heany is one of those guys with a low ceiling but a high floor, and Glasnow still has major control problems but he could be great. I like Deshields and think he has a high ceiling especially for a middle infielder.
  10. Except Francoeur sucks and Puig is the real deal. And plus, you can't compare a white guy to a black guy, especially one that's Cuban!
  11. Christian Yelich - 41 Games in AA; 6HR, 4SB, .262/.342/.518; He's been injured at times this year so I'm not worried about the numbers, his swing is still Awesome! Yasiel Puig - He was mashing in the minors, so I'm not sure what to call what he's doing in the majors. 33 Games in MLB; 8HR, 5SB, .409/.436/.667; I'll take that. Joey Gallo - 83G in A-ball; 26HR!!!, 8SB, 135SO!!!, .225/.311/.540; He might have the most power in the minors, but he needs to cut down on his strikeouts. A.J. Cole - 16GS 88IP in A+; 9.98 K/9, 2.24 BB/9, 4.58 ERA but 3.45 FIP; Ratios are in line with his career so far and ERA looked a better until he blew up for 7 ER in his last start. Best Performance So Far: 7.1in 4h 0r 0er 2bb 10so. Mason Williams - 69G in A+; 3HR, 10SB, 31/44 BB/K, .256/.334/.355; Since he was traded to team Cat's Ass: 24Gm, 4SB, .326/.375/.449. Mark Appel - Sign with the Astros after being the #1 overall pick in the Entry Draft. Made his Pro debut in Class-A last Friday went 2 innings, allowing 3 hits and 2 runs (1 earned), 1so, He retired the last five hitters he faced. Rafael de Paula - 13GS 64.1IP in A; 13.4 K/9, 3.2BB/9, 2.94 ERA --- Recently called up to A+ where he's pitched good in one start and bad in the other. BPSF: 6.1in 3h 1r 1er 1bb 12so. Rafael Montero - 11GS 66.2IP in AA; 9.7 K/9, 1.4 BB/9, 7.20 K/BB, 2.43 ERA --- In AAA at PCL he has struggled a little at times over 6 starts, 2.9 BB/9, 7.8 K/9. BPSF: 7.0in 2h 0r 0er 1bb 6so. Phil Bickford - Still unsigned by the Blue Jays, 10th overall pick in the Entry Draft. Delino DeShields - 68G in A+; 26SB, 2HR, .290/.386/.401; He is fast but he needs to learn the fine art of stealing bases as he's been caught 12 times so far this year. He might be the fastest guy not named Hamilton. Matt Purke - Can this guy stay healthy? 8 GS this year after only making 3 other appearances in his pro career. between A and A+ he has 2.4 BB/9, 11.0 K/9, 4.60 K/BB over 37.2 innings. BPSF: 6.0in 1h 0r 0er 0bb 8so. James Paxton - In the PCL right now; 18 GS, 91.1 innings, 9.0 K/9, 3.8 BB/9, 4.63ERA 3.52FIP; He's had two 10 strikeout games this year and a 9, to go along with a complete game shutout in his last start. BPSF: 6.1in 3h 0r 0er 1bb 11so.
  12. I think it would make more sense to only include players that have not made their major league debut yet.
  13. What doesn't make sense to me is why BA would include Skaggs who has been making starts in the majors the past couple years but not include Puig. Are the lists composed of only players that are in the minors when they put the lists together?
  14. Thanks, nice work! A lot of teams have a player absent from the list because of a call up. Puig for me. Appel will also appear high on this list in the offseason I imagine.
  15. Rasmus is 5th right now in WAR for center fielders. Now hopefully he can keep it up the second half.
  16. http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/10-degrees--first-half-mvps--cy-youngs--top-plays-and-best-use-of-profanity-toward-a-rod-051328191.html Awards for the first half of the season according to Yahoo. It was an alright read. The thing I liked the most was the player comparison second from the bottom. ____________BA OBP SLG HR RBI BB K DRS* Outfielder A .250 .324 .476 16 46 29 101 6 Outfielder B .289 .313 .478 16 61 9 72 -4 Can you guess who is who?
  17. So the guy with the highest K/9 with atleast 40 IP, along with a 1.58 era, doesn't deserve to be an allstar? Let me guess, you're the kind of guy that would rather have Jim Johnson because of them savesss.
  18. I think he knows this. I think he wanted to be a reliever this year earlier in his career to save on his arm. To baby it alittle instead of going out and throwing 200 innings his first couple years. He'll start though in his years heading up to free agency. This way there's a better chance that he'll be healthy the last couple years just before he hits free agency. So next year he'll go as a starter, hit a couple bumps in the road but still be a good starter. Then the next 2 years after that he'll pitch like an ace. Then he signs his huge 9 figure contract. Then his arm explodes from too many 100mph fastballs. Him and his agent have it all planned out.
  19. Your theory is wrong though. Chapman is the only thing holding Chapman back. He's the closer because he wants to be.
  20. Well that's not very sportsman like to say.
  21. We never had a deal done. Just because I mentioned a players name a week ago doesn't mean I was proposing a straight up deal for him.
