It all hinges on how Myers turns out. He'll need to cut down on his strikeouts and try to walk more. And you better hope they keep Santana at C for the foreseeable future. As of right now I like your side of the deal more.

No, you have to wait a full calendar year to sign the play you bought out. That's why the TB Lightening were trying to trade Vincent Lecavalier to the Leafs so the Leafs could then buy him out and then TB would be able to resign him at a lower price.

That's the only one that really jumps out to me. I'd have his farm ranked a little lower, actually I'd swap Gryffindors and z3r0s on the list. I also surprised and really like the fact that mine is at the top of the list, I knew it was good, but didn't know it was that good. I guess Puig really helps out. I should be set up good for the next few years with some of my prospects teamed up with my players who will be on the right side of 30 for atleast a couple more years: Kershaw, Buchholz, Harrison, Skaggs, Rizzo, Rosario, Carlos Gomez, Leonys Martin, Lawrie, Everth Cabrera.

Sunday's game is in the afternoon. He'll get DFA'd Sunday night, don't have time to wait til Monday.. The new DFAOFT will be picked on Monday.

I thought of that too and could really see us getting him. Peavy is the most likely target I think. Iwakuma would be a great option, I really like his K/BB ratio. He's performed like a #1/#2 ever since he started starting last year, so it's not just been this year that he's dominated. With all of the Mariner's SP prospects coming up I can see them dealing Iwakuma, but I'm not sure how cheap he would be though. And we would have control of him until 2018 I think.

“I had a club I talked to (Monday) night, they said another week to 10 days” - AA Some of the names being thrown around in the article are Lee, Iwakuma, Peavy, and E. Santana. I would take any of those, but I'd be scared to think on what we would have to give up for the first 2 names. I'm curious to who AA was talking about when saying that? Vincent Lecavalier is headed to the Flyers. 5yr/22.5Mil for a 4.5 cap hit. I thought he would have been able to get a little more then that. I would have liked for the Leafs to go for him.
