Exactly, a top pick is a top pick.... If we don't sign our top pick this year we get ANOTHER top pick next year. One who has a chance to be even better then Bickford! People always bring up Paxton and Beede. You know who we got for comp for Paxton? Noah Syndergaard... And who is the higher rated prospect right now between the two of them? With Beede we got another pick in the same spot the next year and got Marcus Stroman. Both are good arms, and Beede still had questions about him at that time. Who knows which one will end up better in the end. The only case that could be had for any of them would be Bryant. He was drafted in the 18th round, he was heading to college, and I guess he wanted more money then what the Jays felt comfortable giving, happens all the time with other teams too. So, I don't care if we sign Bickford or not, in the end we will end up getting a very high pick next year in a better draft. It would also give us 2 first round picks which I think would be an even better bonus because of the way the spending limits are set up.

So, I believe Gryffindor is up and on the clock now? Is it a 12 hour clock?

That's a s*** ton of names. I have a list of maybe a dozen. Im glad my last pick is #50, i won't have to scrounge around for players in the late rounds.

I'm surprised Bryant went 1st overall. I guess he just could pass up the power. I had to go with Appel 2nd. It was close between him and Gray, but I had to go with Appel because of a combo of Gray getting drafted to the Rockies, Appel going first in the MLB draft, and Gray getting addicted to Adderall and shooting up the draft boards just this year.

Hey now, I'm not that bad, I'm not saying my team is going to wipe the floor and then take a s*** on your team. But also, my CF/OF depth is starting to get stupid, and I could trade a piece or 2 away. Carlos Gomez-CF, Josh Hamilton-CF, Leonys Martin-CF, Shane Victorino-CF, The amazing Yasiel Puig-OF, and Christian Yelich-CF. I wouldn't mind trading away Victorino. If anyone want's to do a prospect swap with top prospects, Christian Yelich is available, he'll be playing CF for the Marlins later this year. So if you have a prospect blocked at a different position and want your CFer of the future send me a message.

I would like to use this post to say, according to the Yahoo ranks, the top 3 pitchers so far this year are all on my team... No one else even has 2 in the top 10 at this point.

Marty Brown the coach of Buffalo was ejected and now has to serve a 3 game suspension. He went out to argue a play where the runner interfered with the fielder, and when he didn't get his way he sat on the field and pouted. I feel that 3 games is kinda harsh, he didn't even throw any bases around. Draft Order http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/draft/y2013/order.jsp I didn't know that for the comp picks you don't actually get the pick # of the team that signed your player, It's just a pick at the end of the first round. Ex: Brewers gave up the 17th pick to sign Lohse but St. Louis only got pick #28 for comp for losing him. Also, didn't how the playoffs play out effect where the teams in the playoffs pick?
