  1. The 8th overall pick is available if anyone is looking to move up in the draft. I would need a late 1st or an early 2nd in return.
  2. I don't mind it. Keep up the good work guys! And it's not that bad of a deal, Mason has been hitting pretty poor this year.
  3. 2nd and 8th. I should be set up good for in the future and for now. I'm ranked as the 8th team right now and really didn't take away from my team any.
  4. It was a good deal. Hopefully it works out for us both, as long as Skaggs turns out.
  5. Blockbuster trade. Jared Weaver was traded for Tyler Skaggs and the 8th overall draft pick. On another note, I now have a spare draft pick! If someone is down a pick and is looking to add one get at me, I can give you 2 picks in exchange for 1.
  6. Jered Weaver is back, 6ip, 5H, 7SO, 0BB, 1ER. His velocity is back up higher then what it was at the beginning of the year, and he is now available for trade.
  7. It's Iffy, but you never know. You'd have to blow me away with an offer. Straight up for the 3rd? Nope. Send me an email/message with an offer.
  8. With the deadline to aquire draft picks coming up in the next few days, I'd still like to aquire another high pick. Anyone interested in a good young fireball closer? Ernesto Frieri is up for trade for a good draft pick... Also available is 1B Ryan Howard.
  9. My top pitchers kicks all your guy's asses! Kershaw (player rank 6th) Buchholz (player rank 12th) Iwakuma (player rank 16th) That's 3 of the top 7 Starters! Plus Jared Weaver, Matt Harrison, Colby Lewis. And then young lottery tickets: Tyler Thornburg, Drew Pomeranz, Kyle McPherson, Matt Magill, and #2 draft pick who will turn into an ACE.. This is after trading Samardizjijza and Grimm.
  10. Christian Yelich - Still in AA as a 21 year with an ops of .906. Striking out more then what I'd like to see though. No sure I'd still draft him where I did, but could easily prove me wrong. Yasiel Puig - .308/.384/.556 slash line, 6HR, 11SB. Playing awesome, I think if the draft was done over today he'd go in the first round. Joey Gallo - Still hitting tons of Homeruns and still Striking out at a huge pace. Still worth the risk considering the huge upside of his monster bat. A.J. Cole - 9.4 K/9, 3.50 K/BB. .348 BABIP seems kinda high, he needs to allow less hits. Robbie Erlin - Very brief stint in the majors (2IP), back in the PCL. Stats not very good, but it is the PCL.. Miles Head - As a 22 year old in AA he's slashing .197/.272/.265, Not good at all. His power he showed in previous years has vanished, along with his ability to hit. I'm not sure what to do with him but with an extra pick in the upcoming draft he may be my only player that is drop worthy.
  11. If anyone is looking for a younger and better starter then Capuano... Justin Grimm is available for a pick.
  12. Gose!! nevermind, saw the game already started. What a strange gametime..
  13. I now have an abundance of CFers. I am putting Shane Victorino on the block. Looking for anything that makes sense. I would prefer SP, Prospects, and Picks.
  14. It was good dealing. Hopefully Gomez helps fix my hitting.
  15. Do I just post my pick here? Gose!
  16. High average though, could be a Reed Johnson type bat. You're supposed to support your fellow Cubans!
  17. I know, that's what I found weird, it's like he just disappeared.. No news articles, no reports, no stats, no nothing. I could see if he was a player down in Single A that had no success, but he was in AAA last year and hit not too bad. Is it possible for players to defect back to Cuba? Has anyone contacted missing persons?
  18. What has happened to Kenen Bailli this year? He has gone missing. He had a nice average the past two years in the high minors, but I can't find a single thing or anything on him for 2013. He defected from Cuba a couple years ago and signed with us. He is in his late 20's though so he's pretty much a finished project, but I was interested to see what he would do this year. Anyone know anything? He could be an injury replacement option for the OF.
  19. Carlos Zambrano is now signed with the Phillies. We could of had him.
  20. This is Rivera's last year. No value at all.
  21. I'm looking to trade Carlos Marmol for any pick/pick upgrade I can get from him. He's a reliever that'll rack you up K's and provide Holds and/or Saves.
  22. Here's an article that includes some old scouting reports on Dickey and Oliver. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/old-scouting-reports-on-blue-jays-pitchers/
  23. MVP: Hitting: Anthony Rizzo - 9HR, 28rbi, .352obp, .538slg, even 4sb. Next generation of top Firstbasemen. Pitching: My 3-headed monster called Buchshawkuma - 164.6 innings, 13 wins, 167 so, 1.68era, 4.25 K/BB, .237obpa. I just can't choose only one of them. Kershaw has been Kershaw, and Bucholtz and Iwakuma have been Kershaw too. They've turned out to be steals so far. LVP: Hitting: Josh Hamilton - I'm at a lose for words on how to describe him. He was susposed to carry my offence, right now I wouldn't trust him to carry my jock-strap. Pitching: Not sure if it's fair to put a player here because of injury, but if I can it would be Weaver, but that's a case of a high pick being injured. Other then that I would have to go with Marmol and his 5.14/0.92/.420, but of course that's what I should have expected with him.
