  1. I had a 6-8 week and moved up 3 spots... lol
  2. Just slightly more. AJ has better speed.
  3. He'll hit for a higher average then TDA.
  4. Drunk drafting is the best drafting, you go 100% with your gut that way, and your gut is usually right.
  5. Above average hitting catcher with good D.
  6. Something like Yadier Molina but with a little less power.
  7. That's only because they come back and still have talent enough to perform at a high level. Players don't suck for a year and then play at an allstar level the next year as often. Players in Linds position have won it before.
  8. I have no idea who a lot of these players being picked are...
  9. I feel a little bad about that. First start for his new team is his worst start on the year..
  10. Is there a rule about drafting a player that's already drafted? Does the draft just continue on with him making a new pick when he gets back? Is the pick forfeited and he gets a comp pick at the end of the draft? Or does the person just get to pick again in the same spot?
  11. I did sell off Samazijahjska too. I kinda regret selling him, but I did get a CF that is on pace to go 30/30 with a +.300/+.350 slash. And also Jared Weaver (along with his declining velocity). But I got a nice return on him too with Skaggs + #8 Pick. And I'm not really sure how I could turn this deal down. Lawrie was drafted 24th overall this spring, he's still the same guy he was then. And all I had to give up was a 32 year old pitcher that I drafted at pick #295...
  12. What if this is Lawrie's actual high mark?
  13. Maybe you wanna trade me one of your starters for Howard or A-Rod? And it's impossible to tank with Kershaw and Buchholz on my side.
  14. The Iwakuma sweepstakes has officially ended...
  15. Boxy I think is the only other team finished with all their picks? Austin Meadows Dominic Smith Billy McKinney Austin Wilson Riley Unroe Justin Williams Andrew Heaney ---(Turned into)---> Jon Denney
  16. Half of them won't produce anything worth while. But hopefully the other half turn into #1/2's or I'd even settle for #3's.
  17. If you want one of the best arms, Iwakuma is still available.... Thanks, I thought so too. I had it narrowed down to him, and two other pitchers.
  18. I just made my final pick for the draft. I feel I am fairly satisfied with my haul. I ended up getting... Mark Appel Rafael De Paula Phil Bickford Rafael Montero Tyler Glasnow All starting pitchers. And I guess Mason Williams who I got for picks could be included with the above bunch.
  19. Top 5 catcher.... at striking out? Top 5 catcher.... at walking ..... back to the dugout? Top 5 catcher.... at being Clutch!!! http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=c&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=y&type=c,4,6,7,11,12,13,21,-1,34,35,40,41,-1,23,37,38,50,61,-1,54,111,58,71&season=2013&month=0&season1=2013&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=22,d
  20. Yes, it is. I'm just waiting for you guys to believe he's for real. He was money in Japan, and great ever since the Mariners started starting him. He's over 30, but he's Asian and those guys stay healthy and live forever, just ask Boxy's great great grandparents.
  21. Were you ever featured on the show "Hoarders"? Because you have a s*** ton of pitchers.
  22. I don't believe in leaving my prospects down until the super 2 cutoff just so I can save a little cash. He's being blocked by Victorino in the OF, and Howard at DH. So if someone wants to help poor Puig out and trade for one of those guys so that he has a spot to start, I'm sure Puig would be very grateful.
  23. Ya, I think I may have to hold onto him for a little bit.
  24. Not even a ball to the face can stop my Puig! http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-league-stew/yasiel-puig-gets-beaned-setting-off-two-bench-053152761.html
