Just draft whoever the Bluejays draft from rounds 3-8. Trust in AA! Just think of all the work it'll save you.

It is kinda sad... You don't pick until midway through the 4th round. You're also owner of 3 of the last 4 picks in the draft.

Sounds like he is expecting to get any draft pick or draft pick upgrade... But that's just a guess.

I'm looking to trade for some draft picks/ Upgrade the picks I have. Looking to trade any of these: Justin Grimm, Carlos Marmol, Koji Uehara, Jerry Blevins, Tony Watson, Miguel Gonzalez, Drew Pomeranz, Tyler Thornburg, Kyle McPherson, Matt Magill, Joel Hanrahan, Jordany Valdespin. Obviously some are worth slightly more then others.

I don't think it would be Jenkins. For some reason he has only made 1 start so far this year in AA... If I had to choose someone I would go with Bush. He has a good K/BB ratio and doesn't walk many batters.

He'll be fine. He's just starting off a little slow. He actually hit better this April then he did last April. Seems like his wrist is 100% again. -
Do you know what a Dynasty League is? That should tell you why we don't have picks in League #2.. But ya, Boxy lost out on this deal. I thought he could have got more for Holliday atleast another high pick. Pick #16 is nothing special and Correa is a long ways away and might never make the majors.

He started off managing Lansing. Then he managed New Hampshire where he was named Double-A Manager of the Year and they won the Eastern League championship. After that he was moved to "Roving Catching Instructor" in player development department, which does seem kinda like a downgrade but maybe they don't view it that way? Or maybe they want him working with the young catchers to try and make them better. Or maybe he's our manager in waiting...

Like really, this guy even looks like a great manager. The pitchers would be so scared of this guy as he walks to the mound they'd have no choice but to pitch good. Here's a good read about what could happen to Gibbons if he were to be relieved as manager. http://www.thestar.com/sports/bluejays/2013/05/06/blue_jays_bullpen_john_gibbons_can_be_dispatched_without_firing.html I wouldn't mind seeing Gibbons put in a different role somewheres else in the org. And I would like to see Fasano moved into the position. Maybe that's why they made him a roving catching instructer this year... So that way when Gibbons didn't work out they could put Fasano in his place without messing around with the minor league manager spots. I feel Fasano would make a better manager and really fire up this club, he wouldn't take any s*** and he'd straighten out the players. http://jpopp.com/myfakeleg/articles/images/baseball04.jpg

Why waste him as a reliever though? If he can start he should start. Having him in the bullpen this year would be a waste since we aren't going anywhere. Ideally we should stretch him out down there, then bring him up here and start him in the pen with eventually moving him into the rotation. Kinda along the lines of what the STL Cards do with their youngsters. -

I think they should start him out as a starter in A+. Give him a few starts there and if he's good bring him up to AA for starts and let him finish the season out there. -
