  1. Maybe its time to tinker with the lineup a bit. Would move Springer to cleanup. Prefer keeping Bo/Vladdy/Santander in the 1-2-3 spots. Once Varsho gets back, can move him into the 5th spot. Gimenez as much as I love his glove shouldn't be hitting anywhere near the top of the order. He's a bottom order guy. Seems like the Jays have too many of those bats that fit that description. Would be nice if Wagner and/or Roden actually started hitting with some power. Would definitely help if one of them was off to a good start offensively.
  2. This is a must win after losing 2 in a row to the Mariners. Astros lost a close one yesterday to the Padres. Their lineup isn't anything good outside of Altuve, Alvarez and Walker. Cam Smith is an intriguing guy though. Yainer Diaz has struggled heavily in the early going. Hopefully the Jays pitchers could carve up their lineup!
  3. Pick him up for his next start. I dare you!
  4. BTS streaming Charlie Morton today in two fantasy leagues 🤣
  5. Getting tar and feathered on Easter is unacceptable.
  6. Take the O's lineup and keep the Jays pitching. What a team that would be!
  7. Damn that sucks about Sandlin. Glad to see Barnes DFA finally haha
  8. You have the exact same criticisms lol.
  9. Never said anything about the Jays having to have a perfect roster. But when you're in the middle of your contending window, you shouldn't be cheaping out on areas that need to be addressed. Whether it was the pen in 2021, or bench/defensive liabilities in 2022 or the lack of power which was evident throughout all of 2023. If those areas were properly addressed in the offseason or during the season rather than keeping the status quo, might have had different results.
  10. Hays having a really good season with the Reds so far. Robertson would be a perfect add to this pen.
  11. Tough one to lose and given some of the other losses, feels like we could have 2 or 3 more wins like Grant said. That's baseball though and can't win them all. Jays likely will win some games they had no business of winning over the course of 162 games. Regardless, will take a 12-9 record so far given where this team was last season. Lets hope they remain consistent, and can be in a good spot come July where they're looking to add!
  12. My one criticism of Atkins and this FO over the last couple of years. Some will disagree with me, but that's alright. It seems like in every season, whether it was 2021 with the bullpen, 2022 with their bench/defense, and 2023 with the lack of power, they neglect certain parts of the roster filling them with waiver claims and minor league invites instead of filling those obvious holes with more reliable options during the offseason.
  13. Sucks they couldn't push across that final run in extras. Definitely a winnable game. It's sad that this offense can only muster 4 runs on 12 hits, but this is the type of lineup the Jays have and that's the reality. Once Santander and Vladdy get going with the longball, should get better results but still the lack of power in this lineup is a concern. Feels like 2023 all over again.
  14. Laika loves to flip-flop all the time, but he doesn't realize it.
  15. Raleigh just dominates the Jays every time geez.
  16. In the LOD, Miles Mastrobuoni is starting for the best team in the league.
  17. Against the Marlins as well out of all teams.
  18. Got the over/under at 8.5 back in the second inning.

NBA Playoffs R1: - Cavs over the Heat - Celtics over the Magic - Knicks over the Pistons - Pacers over the Bucks - Thunder over the Grizzlies - Lakers over the Timberwolves - Nuggets over the Clippers - Warriors over the Rockets Would like to see the Pistons beat the Knicks, but don't think it will happen. Warriors/Rockets is a flip of the coin.

My picks in R1 but what do I know: - Leafs over Sens - Caps over Habs - Hurricanes over Devils - Lightning over Panthers - Jets over Blues -Golden Knights over Wild - Stars over Av's - Kings over Oilers Lightning/Panthers, Stars/Av's and King/Oilers is a flip of the coin IMO. As an upset team, maybe the Habs squeeze by in R1, but will go with the experienced Caps.
  21. Glad the Leafs are playing tomorrow night. Imagine the downtown core today with the Jays game at 3PM and then the Leafs right after at 7PM haha.
  22. Jays are 6 to 1 now to win the division. Rays are 11 to 1. NL West: Dodgers still heavy favourites, but getting great odds on the Padres at 7.5 to 1, D'Backs 17 to 1 and Giants at 21 to 1.
  23. Bet the under for these games. Both lineups aren't putting up huge numbers and these are going to be low scoring games. Got the O/U last night at 8.5 in the 5th inning.
  24. Rays call-up Chandler Simpson. Next Billy Hamilton or can he actually hit and get on-base?
