  1. We got a real streak! 4 straight baby! Lets go!
  2. Feels like it's a game the Jays could steal today. If they sweep, would be nice to make up for some of the other games they let get away over the last couple of weeks.
  3. I'm going to Minny in June to see the Jays play. Target Field has always been on the top of my list of ballparks to visit and managed to work out with scheduling and flights not being that expensive. Don't let the media or social media fear monger and spread false narratives. Like Canadians shouldn't be ostracized or tarred and feathered by their fellow Canadians for going down to the States to see their beloved Blue Jays play or for whatever reason.
  4. 3 in a row, lets make it 4 and go for the sweep! Screw the Mariners!
  5. Griffin Canning is actually having a decent season. WTF? Already at 0.7 WAR and 3.39 FIP through 7 starts. I was tarred and feathered during the offseason by some suggesting him as a back-end rotation option.
  6. Rodon rebounded and gave the Yankees 6 innings, allowing 4 earned runs, and 10 K's with no walks. Second in the MLB with 67 K's.
  7. When Sasaki has a stretch of 5 really good starts in a row at some point, you'll then say Sasaki is legit. Flip flop as usual.
  8. Lets hope Francis has a good outing. Would be nice to definitely take this one tonight with Evans on the mound and with Urena pitching for the Jays tomorrow lol.
  9. Writing off Sasaki (who is only 23) already because of a small sample size at the big league level when he likely needed some seasoning in the minors to begin with is a bit pre-mature.
  10. He probably needs time in the minors. Thought he would have started in the minors to begin with, but I guess the Dodgers had no choice with some of the injuries to their rotation.
  11. If the Jays could roll into the ASB within striking distance of the division and WC spots, hopefully they could add another big masher to their lineup and/or another SP for the final stretch of the season. Still way too early to see who will be sellers, but definitely the Angels, Marlins, Pirates, White Sox and possibly the Rays. The Rockies suck so there really isn't anyone we would want lol. Some possible trade candidates from those teams: Angels: - Tyler Anderson: two-month rental - Yusei Kikuchi: under control until 2028 at a decent salary and would welcome him back in a heart beat! - Taylor Ward: could probably be had for cheap and has 8 HR's already. Marlins: - Sandy Alcantara: under control until 2028 and would slide in nicely at the top of the rotation. White Sox: - Luis Roberts Jr.: could be an impact bat in this lineup once he starts heating up. Pirates: - Andrew Heaney: solid veteran two-month rental and not a big cap hit at all. - Andrew McCutchen: would be a nice veteran fit at DH, but doubt the Pirates trade him. Rays: - Brandon Lowe: free agent in 2027 and could play 2B and has pop. Even for next season, can move Gimenez to shortstop if Bo leaves as a FA, and Lowe steps in at second. - Yandy Diaz: has struggled and free agent in 2027. Rays likely will shop him. - Zach Littell: two-month rental and small cap hit.
  12. Two in a row baby! Let's make it 3 tonight!
  13. Good question. Julio at least plays CF and is a better baserunner lol. He'll also be good for around 25-30 SB's per season or more. Power wise, career high is 32. Not sure he has 40-50 HR potential like Vladdy does however. Also, don't ever see J-Rod ever being a .900-1000 OPS guy, but you never know. Vladdy this season offensively is hitting .295/.383/.432 at least and we know he's capable of way more. Offensively, I still think Vladdy has a higher ceiling. Overall, J-Rod likely still provides value even if his offensive numbers suffer. Last season he still provided 3.9 WAR despite a .273/.325/.409 line with a 116 wRC+ whereas Vladdy only provided 1.3 WAR when he slashed .264/.345/.444 with a 118 wRC+ in 2023.
  14. FYI, Tim Johnson had a .543 winning percentage in his lone year as manager. Bring the man out of retirement!
  15. We need Tim Johnson back so he could tell the players some fabricated stories of fighting in the Vietnam War. That will motivate the players to start playing better!
  16. Jays players gotta start juicing like in the 90s!
  17. Brock is probably like "Damnit guys, we bought the wrong message board."
  18. Considering how much the Jays have sucked this season, they're still ONLY 4.5 GB of the Yankees in the AL East. Obviously they need to turn things around quickly. Vladdy and Bo gotta start hitting the ball with more authority, Santander needs to go on a tear, and need the starters to go deep so the Jays don't overtax the pen.
  19. Hopefully you didn't stream Charlie Morton again.
  20. Bring back Cito Gaston! He'll tell all the hitters to start pulling the ball!
  21. Jays are favourites tonight on Bet365 haha.
  22. To make the games more entertaining, start betting on Blue Jays games. Should be able to make a bit of money on the side and if you don't, it still was fun! If you bet the Blue Jays to lose, but they still win, you're not upset. If you bet the Blue Jays to lose, and they do lose, you're not upset they lost. Only if you bet the Blue Jays to win and they lose, than its a double whammy, even worse than before. Those are the ebbs and flow however!
