  1. Paul Skenes gave up 3 solo home runs today in the same inning against the Cubs.
  2. Wonder what the money line odds were on the Jays at that time.
  3. I was staying at the Sheraton Hotel in Boston at the end of August in 2009 to watch the Jays take on the Red Sox for my 21st birthday. After the Friday night game, was at the hotel bar and saw Travis Snider walk into the hotel with two hot blondes and went right to the elevators. That's a winner right there! I'm sure none of us ever managed to do that haha.

I still think the Leafs get by the Sens, but I'm a bit worried now. As for R2, Florida or Tampa will take them to the cleaners.

If Leafs cough up a 3-0 series lead...
  6. I was correct about William haha.
  7. Back in early April, there were some posters so excited having a core of Kirk, Gimenez and Varsho to build around lol.
  8. The issue is the Jays have gone into this season relying on a bunch of Buffalo guys who so far have looked all like duds. Not one of Wagner, Roden, or Barger have been positive contributors offensively. Ideally would have been better having them start the season in Buffalo and calling them up if an injury occurred. As well, they are already pretty much a glove-first majority lineup with Gimenez, Kirk, Clement and Varsho. Also, doesn't help that your main bats aren't hitting for power like Vladdy, Santander and Bo. As for pitching, the rotation is a bunch of 3/4 starters, unless guys like Gausman and Berrios return to their 2023 form. I was tarred and feathered early this month for saying that, but that's the reality. Bullpen wise, Hoffman has been fantastic and Yimi has been rock solid. Even guys like Brandon Little and Nick Sandlin (before his injury) have been reliable.
  9. Braves were supposed to be in shambles according to one prominent poster on this board 🤣
  10. Even the Mariners are third in the MLB with 42 HR's thus far lol.
  11. Does William still own Eric Lauer in the LOD? Trade offers incoming tonight.
  12. Neto or Jazz Chisholm Jr? 20-team dynasty league.
  13. I think Spanky picked him up in a couple leagues and owns him in the LOD haha
  14. Leafs playing tonight at home for Game 5 as well. Downtown core will be a shitshow haha. Can likely get cheap tickets for the Jays game tonight.
  15. I don't think the Blue Jays season is over, but their lineup looks more in shambles than the Braves right now. Braves have won 8 of their last 10, and have a more talented group of players in their lineup who are proven All-Stars. Acuna is expected back soon as well. Whereas the Jays have a bunch of #8-9 hitters occupying majority of their lineup.
  16. Ryan Yarborough has a new fan! 🤣
  17. Haha he did. 4 for 4 with 2 HR and 5 RBI in the last game of the season, off Jeremy Guthrie and Alfredo Simon lol.

  19. This Jays team reminds me of the 2008 team. No power whatsoever, though great pitching. Vernon Wells was the team HR leader with 20 in 2008.
  20. The plan is to compete haha.
