Nuggets so close to being a play-in team haha damn. The West outside of OKC are so close to each other in the standings. Literally 1 game separates the Nuggets from 4th place to the 7th place Timberwolves. Not sure why the fired Malone though. Has had a lot of success in Denver over the last 4-5 seasons, and coached them to a Championship in 2023. Unless some of the top players went to the FO to complain, not really sure and weird firing right before the Playoffs.
  3. This is why another bat would have been nice to add this offseason with Santander. Going into the season relying both on Wagner and Roden as starters was kind of risky. Would have been better having them in AAA to start the season and as the first call-up options in case of an injury. Just gotta hope Wagner/Roden can turn things around.
  4. Didn't even have to play last night and took possession of first! Playoffs will be easy to make!
  5. Yeah Connor brings up a good point. If Vlad was raking throughout the first 10-12 games of the season where he had like 4-5 HR's, was hitting 300 with a .900-1000 OPS, wonder if he accepts that total. At the end of the day, hopefully he can put all the contract distraction stuff behind him and now focus on hitting and tearing the cover off the ball. He's pretty much set for life now and will be the face of this franchise for the next decade.
  6. Bo's highest OBP as well was only .358 which came in his rookie year over 196 AB's in 46 games. In his three full seasons from 2021-2023, his OBP was .343, .333 and .339 which is meh. Also, career high in SB's was 25 back in 2021. Hasn't stolen that many since. He's a tier below guys like Turner and Machado when they became FA's.
  7. He needs to improve his defense and have a career year offensively where he spots a wRC+ of 140 or so. Wasn't laughing at Bo, more the fact that some posters suggested he would be getting around $300M as a free agent. Hasn't proven he's a 6-7 WAR guy. Bo's career high in WAR was 4.9 in 2021 and 4.8 in 2022. Definitely believe he can reach those totals again and sit between a 4 to 5 WAR guy for the rest of his twenties. 6 to 7 WAR is possible but unlikely unless he undergoes a transformation on both sides to his game. But sure the upside/potential is there.
  8. Yeah Adames is definitely the benchmark. If Bo wants to get Seager, Turner or Machado money, will have to put together a 6-7 WAR season lol.
  9. The ump yesterday behind home plate was awful! Couldn't believe some of the strike calls.
  10. What your Friday night is like without the Blue Jays playing.
  11. Sorry forgot how to post tweets on here lol.

  13. Perfect. In my old age, tough to stay awake past 10pm these days.
  14. Coors Field was one of my favourite ballparks I've been to. Denver is a great sports city as well. Sucks to see the organization in the shape it is.
  15. Blue Jays also 3-0 after Vladdy signed his $500M extension!
  16. Booked my flight to Minneapolis in June! Woohoo! 🥳
  17. I wrote this before the Gausman gem tonight lol. But still, need to see Berrios and Gausman return to there 2023 form. Otherwise the rotation is made of a bunch of No. 3 starters. all I was saying was that hopefully the Jays could target an elite top arm via free agency
  18. Don’t get too excited Max. Its a long season!
  19. Rotation is decent but it hasn't been "outstanding" lol. It's pretty much made up of a bunch of No. 3 starters unless Gausman and Berrios return to their 2023 forms as I said. Bassitt is a FA after this season, so will need to replace him. Mad Max only signed a one-year deal. That leaves 2 open spots in the rotation in 2026. Adding an elite top starter would definitely be nice and should be at the top of the list.
  20. What? You can't be serious. Outside of Bassitt and Lucas thus far, the rest of the rotation has been meh.
  21. His breakdowns on X are hilarious haha. Should be a fun season! 🤣

  23. They likely will need to spend big on an elite SP. Right now, the rotation looks like more of mid-rotation type arms unless guys like Gausman and Berrios bounce back to their 2023 forms.
  24. Bo has to go out and post a 6-7 WAR season for him to get those types of contracts. Seager was the only guy but Texas went crazy that offseason. As well, Seager to that point had a better career than Bo has had. Think more along the lines of Wily Adames.
