    Seems like the Jays just abandoned this issue and likely will keep rotating through guys from Buffalo like you said. By time they address the situation in June/July, will be too late. Kinda feels like deja vu from 2021.

    One more power bat who can either play LF or DH would be nice. If the Jays are in the Postseason hunt come July, hopefully they target a bat with some power. Otherwise would have to get creative with a trade. Right now, the team could definitely use some bullpen reinforcements. Adding another arm like David Robertson or Adam Ottovino would be huge and is much needed.

    Yeah I think the Jays have a couple possible 20+ HR candidates this season: - Santander (30-40 HR) - Vladdy (30-40 HR) - Bo (around 25 HR) - Springer (20-25 HR) - Varsho (should be good for 20 HR though hopefully he gets back soon) - maybe Gimenez (had 17 in 2022)

    Only has been 7 games, but I hope he can keep this level up and we see him return to his 2022 levels on a consistent basis. Same with Kirk.

    Sure if he returns to being a consistent 5-6 WAR player and shows a resemblance of the offensive player he was in 2022. Though it's only been 7 games so far.

    Building blocks? Look I love Kirk and Gimenez, but if you're expecting them to be the star players on the Jays for the next five seasons or so, not going to look pretty. They're definitely solid players, but they're not core players.

    Calm down. They're definitely nice pieces to have, but you don't expect your core to be players like Kirk, Gimenez and Varsho and expect to contend in the AL East lol. I'm all for extending Varsho at the right price, like how they did with Kirk.

    Lucky I got the early payout on Bet365 with the Braves since they were up 5-0 haha. Awful start to the season for the Braves. Bullpen couldn't hold it tonight and they had multiple opportunities to put up crooked numbers with the bases loaded and failed.

    Seems like Sacramento is going to be a launching pad this season. Cubs won 18-3 last night. Tonight its 6-4 Cubs already in the 5th. Rooker and Shea crushed home runs for the A's, while Suzuki and Tucker crushed HR's for the Cubs so far.
