  1. Agreed to an extent, but at least the Braves have proven bats whereas the Jays are pretty much running a bunch of #8-9 hitters for more than half of their lineup. Braves also are still without Acuna and have been without Strider & Lopez for majority of the season to date. They also were without Murphy for a while. So considering all the challenges they've had thus far, being just two games under .500 isn't all that bad.
  2. BTS picked him up again in one of our dynasty leagues. Hopefully he didn't start him haha.
  3. If he reverts back to his career averages, likely similar to Wily Adames. If he has an empty batting average with little to no power (single digit HRs), I think he'll have to settle for a one-year pillow deal or a 2-3 year deal which includes opt-outs.
  4. Think Sean Burke is droppable in a 20-team dynasty league?
  5. Crazy game. Caught the end of the game after the Leafs/Sens game. Braves have won 7 of their last 8. The Braves are in shambles as Spanky said.
  6. If he only hits single digit HR's this season with a mid. 700 OPS, he likely only gets a one-year pillow deal from someone.
  7. You think Bo has gone all Tim Anderson now?
  8. Dylan Moore being 32 as well. If he was younger like 27 or 28, might be a little bit more believable. I remember Chris Shelton going off in early 2006 haha. Never heard from him again.
  9. Devin Williams has been awful this season! will take it haha!

Tampa looks to be in trouble down 2-0 to the Panthers.
  11. I bet $10 on the Jays tonight. They're gonna crush Carrasco!
  12. To keep the positivity up around here: Phillies also just got swept by the Mets and fell to 13-12. They have a tough weekend road matchup at Wrigley Field coming up. Their bullpen has been in shambles outside of Alvarado and Strahm. Their lineup outside of Harper, Schwarber, Casty and Stott have struggled heavily. So Blue Jays aren't the only team in a bit of a rut. It's still early and things can turn around quickly in baseball.
  13. Makes sense to send Wagner and Roden down when Varsho is ready. Keep Lukes up as a 4th outfielder and like Term said, he doesn't have to play everyday. Seems like the role fits him fine. Get Roden and Wagner everyday AB's in Buffalo and let them rebuild some confidence. They should have been starting in Buffalo to begin with ideally. Would start Clement at 3B. At least he has a glove. It's not like Wagner is playing any better offensively anyways. Would keep Barger around and get him some reps in the OF when Santander and Springer DH and maybe a bit at 3B and use Clement as a defensive late inning replacement. Would like to see Barger get more playing time and see what he could do. Think there are ways to be creative and to get his bat in the lineup almost everyday, while rotating guys like Santander/Springer through the DH spot.
  14. He actually owns Pederson in two dynasty leagues lol.
  15. Love your positivity Term. Not all doom and gloom as it looks. Hopefully they avoid the sweep tonight and maybe can take 2 of 3 against the Yankees!
  16. I literally said the same thing like two weeks ago and was tarred and feathered.
  17. The best game IMO that stood out and we need more of is like the second game against the Braves. What was the difference in that game? The longball with runners on made a difference. Jays ended up winning 6-3 thanks to home runs from Roden and Santander. That made the difference. Otherwise, the Jays likely only score 2-3 runs that game.
  18. Yeah for the last 2-3 seasons they have been. Seems that way since the 2022 season. Lineup construction wise, this lineup is only top heavy #1-4 (we're also lucky Springer is off to a great start or it would be #1-3 haha) while the rest of the lineup features #8-9 hitters. Even the bats at the top (Bo, Vladdy and Santander) only have 3 HR's between them combined.
