  1. Not again. Not looking to start anything here.
  2. Was I even talking about him? No. I never made a mention of his name and he starts making assumptions and insults me on the board again. That's uncalled for.
  3. Yup. Not going to name names, though one is a pretty prominent and active member on this board.
  4. He needs some bats badly. Pollock and Tavares and maybe Marisnick look like they could be fixtures for him moving forward, though even those guys have question marks. Pitching wise - Harvey, Nelson, Parker, Pomeranz, Gonzalez isn't that bad.
  5. It's alright, I've seen worse in dynasty leagues.
  6. Someone offered me this just now in my 20-team, 40 man roster ESPN dynasty league: I get: Jose Bautista I trade: Zach Wheeler and Miguel Sano Thoughts? 7. 2014 numbers. Last time he provided similar results?
  8. I think you're looking way too much into his 2014 numbers. He's likely going to regress. The Blue Jays are in no position to give him 4/60 this offseason and even if I was a GM of any other team, I wouldn't dare come close to those terms.
  9. Those are realistic terms. I can't believe numbers like 4/60 and 3/50 are getting thrown around for Martin, geez.
  10. He won't get Brian McCann money on the market.
  11. Yeah you can acquire a good framer and it won't cost you 4 years/60 million, which is absurd. Martin isn't likely to keep up this offensive production over the next four years anyways, and you'd be paying him for his 32-36 age seasons. You can definitely expect regression. I think people on here are getting caught up with his 2014 stats. He hasn't been this good offensively since his 2007/2008 seasons, and considering the Jays payroll situation, giving him 15M AAV and giving him more money than Bautista and EE is absurd.
  12. 4/60? I love Martin as well, though to give him $15 million annually over the next four years for his age 32-36 seasons is something I'm not for. Martin is fantastic defensively and his pitch framing is gold. I don't expect him to keep up this production offensively moving forward.
  13. Wow Shields hardly went for anything.
  14. They are not worth $73 face value on a Monday night on the open market. You are lucky to get $80 for the pair. $60 total is likely what a scalper would offer.
  15. Is it Mark Buehrle bobble head day?
  16. JFaS is going crazy! I'm glad that Santos was kept in the organization and no team claimed him. His arm is electric - hopefully he has a strong finish up in the bigs!
  17. I actually would like to go! Should be awesome!
  18. Thanks for the article. Just got back from Europe so catching up what I've missed the last three weeks. I know his defense is golden.
  19. Has Alex Gordon been the best player in baseball this year so far? I'm doing a dynasty salary dispersal draft and Gordon is still on the board with a 12.5 M cap hit in 2015. I know in fantasy he isn't that sexy, though I'm debating whether I should take him or not.
  20. McCarthy has always been a great pitcher when healthy. I'm not sure his spike in K/9 is sustainable, though he's a solid pitcher nonetheless. I've always been a fan.
  21. It was against the Astros; though nonetheless he's still a good pitcher.
