Yeah I like the trade as well but reading some posts on here it sounds like AA just traded for an all-star second baseman lol. It's nice how AA brought in someone who could compete at 2B, though lets not get out of hand here. -

Was his girlfriend heavily under the influence of alcohol as well? If she wasn't, then she should have used her common sense and not get in the car and prevent OT from even driving.

Sad if this is true. I can't tolerate people who drink and drive - they risk putting others at danger which really annoys me. Like seriously, if you are a sports star/movie star and plan on getting drunk one afternoon/night, then use your brains and book like a personal driver/limo. Money isn't an object with those guys. Same thing when Jonas got caught last April - just foolish. You live downtown, have all the money in the world - if you plan on partying one night, then just hire a limo.

Great news on hearing Kluber winning the Cy Young. He deserved it! I'm a huge King Felix fan though I'm glad the voters got this one right.

I think we all knew V-Mart wasn't coming here lol. I doubt he produces the same type of numbers he did this season moving forward.

How was his pitch framing before? I know durability would be an issue with him playing behind the plate. He'd likely have to rotate between 1B/DH and C however. Doubt though he wants to catch again.

He should probably sign a one-day contract with the Mariners and then retire. If he wants to play again for one more season, sign with the Mariners and then call it a day.
