  1. I'm glad I don't own Verlander in any baseball leagues - stuff like that doesn't sit well with my squads. He'd be dropped.
  2. Jim Leyland would have been freaking!
  3. Wow that's shocking. He's pulling a Grady Sizemore.
  4. Busy night already... I'll entertain offers for Tulo until 2.59 AM EST - I'd be looking for multiple young assets or players in their prime that could improve multiple areas of my squad.
  5. 15 wins, 3.06 ERA, 8.78 K/9, 3.73 xFIP last season as a 22-year-old and pitching for the Cardinals - what isn't there to like?
  6. I'm sure if this trade took place last year at this time, you would be saying WTF towards my end...
  7. Love this move! I've always been a fan of Mayberry!
  8. I'd like to strike a deal possibly before the deadline. Message me if interested.
  9. The beer selection at the Rogers Centre is very underwhelming.
  10. If anyone is looking to deal before the deadline let me know. I'll be home tonight doing the football draft and playing PS4 lol
  11. Kazmir has not looked good at all over his last three starts. Panic in Oakland?
  12. On a more serious notes, we've seen sluggers like Adam Dunn never age well in baseball.
  13. He never liked baseball, so I could see why he's retiring early.
  14. Wow, that's crazy. I'm shocked that Lynn got traded away for so little. I even made a trade for him in the FC before the deadline - didn't give up much. He's only 27 and he gets no love whatsoever.
  15. http://i.cbc.ca/1.1912952.1380909862!/cpImage/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/16x9_620/red-sox-felix-doubront.jpg BTS has posters of Felix Doubront all over his room.
  16. Felix Doubront looked sharp in his Cubs debut. I know BTS loves him. He's available for a spect/pick.
  17. I'm looking to move TDA along with Rubby De La Rosa in a package either for a solid bat or pitcher. All my spects are available as well and I could move some veteran pieces off my club such as Mike Napoli or Carlos Beltran. Heck I've even entrained offers for Freddie Freeman the other day and was close to making a deal. I'm open to anything.
  18. I own Hosmer in a salary league, and I'm worried. Not sure what to expect. He has been pretty terrible. Crossing fingers that he goes Anthony Rizzo next season.
  19. Salazar has looked good since coming back - if he's right, watch out!
  20. I think you have to give Sanchez an opportunity to start. If he fails as a starter, then you know you have a lights out reliever who could close worst case scenario.

  22. http://www.thestar.com/business/2014/08/19/melbourne_wins_tops_most_liveable_city_ranking_three_canadian_cities_in_top_10_list.html Toronto ranked 4th I'm not shocked to see Melbourne at the top - its a fantastic city, easy to get around, great transit, great night life, clean, great climate, and is one of the sports capitals of the world. Sydney and Auckland were beautiful as well.
  23. Rubby De La Rosa is available and could be package with TDA - he's a young post-hype arm and has had some success up in the big leagues with both Boston and LA.
