Damn should have put money on the Lions lol!
  2. Next time I go to NYC, I'll likely stay in Newark or Queens. I've done all the tourist stuff in Manhattan (Times Square, Central Park, Empire State Building, Broadway etc). I'll probably go back again for the US Open, and usually I'm just at Flushing Meadows all day anyways watching tennis, or a baseball game later at Citi or Yankees Stadium. Plus its easy to get into the city from Queens or Newark. Light rail commuter trains are only like 15-20 mins and take you right into Central or Penn Station.
  3. I've done all the tourist stuff in LA before (Universal Studios, Disneyland, Hollywood Blvd. etc). I wouldn't mind maybe catching a show of Conan or Jimmy Kimmel haha. I heard Dodgers Stadium is a pain to get to though...is that true?

I've got a pair of Raptors tickets against Golden State late February. They are in section 113, row 25 (Drake Zone). If interested, send me a PM.

Dalton isn't that great of a QB - he'll never lead a team to a Superbowl.

I'd bet on the Colts and Lions. I'm cheering for the Cowboys though. Should be a great game!
  7. Was looking at the dates I'll be there, and I'm deciding to fly in a couple days earlier and leave a couple of days later to catch a game at Dodgers Stadium and Angels Stadium. San Diego is only an hour and a half drive from LA, so I figured why not knock off all those 3 then.
  8. Didn't catch any baseball on the road this season unfortunately. Saw both the Mets and Yankees back in 2013. This upcoming summer, I'll be seeing 1-2 games in San Diego vs. the Dodgers.
  9. Talk to Gibbers, he's been to almost every ballpark. For advice on travelling to different ballparks, he'd be best to talk to!

Ross needs to go to the line more! Only 15 FT's attempted since DeRozan has been out, which is absurd! Also, JV should have played more than 10 mins. Awful game tonight. The Raptors made things interesting in the second quarter, though had a brutal start to the third quarter.
  11. Boston is my favourite city in the U.S. and I prefer it a lot more to NYC as well. I like NYC don't get me wrong, though its super busy and filled with tourists. I was in Boston at the end of October for a Bruins and Pats game, and loved it! I went to Fenway in 2009 to see the Jays play which was awesome as well. Overall, its a great city with everything - awesome areas, history, sports, nightlife, food etc. Less busier and less expensive than NYC. You can't go wrong.
  12. Opening Day seats will be super expensive everywhere especially in NYC for the Yankees. I used StubHub to buy my Yankees seats the two times I went though it was near the end of August, both against the O's. Purchased my seats for like a good 40% less then the box office. As for suggested places to stay, if you plan on staying in the city for a bit to sightsee, then stay in Manhattan. I'm sure you can find decent hotel rates in April. If you can get a room between $200-$250/per night (taxes, fees, everything included) then thats pretty decent for staying in Manhattan. The last two times I've been to NYC I stayed at the Sheraton and the New Yorker (which is right next to MSG and Penn Station). I preferred the New Yorker a lot more, and I believe it was cheaper. Older hotel, though its right next to Penn Station and its only a couple of blocks away from Time Square. Both times I went (in 2012 and 2013) was near or on the Labour Day weekend so I think when you go in April, hotels should be fairly reasonable, especially if I paid around $250 per night close to Labour Day and with the US Open on.

    Big game tonight can't wait!
  14. I'm looking to move SP Vance Worley for a 2nd round pick. He had a solid year with the Pirates last season (3.54 xFIP). Any team lacking starting pitching, send me a PM.
  15. Just traded Albert Pujols for Carlos Carrasco in this 20-team dynasty league, 40-man rosters!
  16. Aniston in the Horrible Bosses movies...the things I'd do to her haha.
  17. Who would you say is hotter - Courtney Cox or Jennifer Aniston?
  18. You're such a wanker. Seriously do you have a life? It seems quite pathetic.
  19. It would definitely take time editing all the rosters and setting the lineups, though I could give it a try.
  20. My 2017 lineup in MLB the Show! SS Reyes 2B Zobrist RF Bautista 1B Encarnacion 3B Donaldson LF Gordon C Martin DH Smith CF Pollock
  21. Team went 84-78 and missed the postseason by 3 games lol. I signed David Price and Shark during the offseason to huge contracts as well. SS Reyes CF AJ Pollock RF Bautista 1B Encarnacion 3B Donaldson DH Martinez (likely will retire once I enter the offseason) C Martin LF Saunders (really sucked lol) 2B Travis (awful rookie year haha) SP David Price SP Jeff Samardzja SP Drew Hutchison SP Aaron Sanchez SP Marcus Stroman LR Jesse Chavez LR Tyoshi Wada MR Adam Ottovino MR Aaron Loup SU Brett Cecil SU Mike Adams CL Antonio Bastardo
  22. Sanchez can most definitely end up as a Kyle Drabek in the rotation. His BB/9 rates in the minors scare me and him pitching 2-3 times through a lineup, don't think his stuff will hold up especially with a low rate of inducing swinging strikes. I'd trade him now while his market value remains relativity decent.
  23. In my MLB the Show franchise, I simulated the 2016 season and Aaron Sanchez went 11-12 with a 2.56 ERA and 272 K's!!! MunenoriKawasakiMVP loves that!
