  1. Where are the Tampa Bay fanboys now lol?
  2. Even movie prices have gone up since they've now added VIP screenings where you can purchase alcohol. Haven't seen a movie in a VIP theatre yet, though its stupid to pay more for the same movie only because you are allowed to purchase an expensive overpriced beer lol. Just bring in your own tall cans - that's the smart way!
  3. New video games used to be $59.99; now they are all $69.99. ********!
  4. Yeah if you could get Pedro for Lind, that would be sweet. Pedro and Valencia at 3B platooning, and then Lawrie at 2B. Infield is solved.
  5. Great list - I'm sure you can add two of those names to form a very solid platoon at a very reasonable cost. Joyce would be a nice bat against RHP! For that other half of the platoon, I'd go with someone like a Drew Stubbs or Chris Denorfia - at least they'd be able to play some CF if needed as well.
  6. Snider is 5 years young, can at least play an OF spot and is making a lot less. I think the Pirates would have to shed some salary if they added Lind which is why Morton could be a fit since he's scheduled to make $8 million.
  7. He's under club control through 2017 at a very reasonable salary (2017 team option). If he's healthy, he's a valuable arm in any rotation.
  8. Is there something out there that could provide similar value to a Cat/Johnson platoon like in 2005 and 2006?
  9. Lind for Morton.
  10. Just find a Catalanotto/Johnson platoon which could likely offer similar or better production than Melky alone at a fraction of the cost.
  11. The max I would go on Melky would be three years. 4 or 5 years is a lot more riskier.
  12. It's the same with prices for escorts - the one's that were charging $250 a year ago are now charging $300 per hour.
  13. Yankees ticket prices are crazy. Seats that are $70 in Toronto cost $230 at Yankee Stadium.
  14. http://25.media.tumblr.com/c6145ddd1c3f2dad470385b3715da629/tumblr_mjdm6lWs5K1s7g66do1_500.jpg
  15. Yes. It calms us all down. Remy is good therapy lol. If you post a nice gif, I'll like your post.
  16. Yeah I admit, as a student in my last year at UofT, I didn't have $100 back then to blow on beer at the Rogers Centre. So whats your point lol? I don't think guys like Chappy or Gibbers spent $100 on a round of beer for everyone. Though if you think that entitles you to being a big shot, then great!
  17. To calm down this thread from being another war zone: http://38.media.tumblr.com/58e6fc9efab333036976772b4eb536bc/tumblr_nbxcumayCn1teru65o1_400.gif That's better!
  18. I have no idea what he is trying to prove with this lol.
  19. About what lol? This literally came out of nowhere haha. Are you implying that I'm cheap because I never bought an entire round like 5 years ago at the Jays game when we met Gerry? I was still a student back then dude lol and I'm sure I didn't have that kind of money to throw around especially buying beer for everyone at a Jays game of all places lol. Let alone for people I never even met before or just once. Secondly, at the last game get together I did buy a round of Rolling Rocks for us (which I remember because that was the first time I ever drank that beer). And if you are upset that I didn't buy you more beer after the game, it wasn't my fault that they cut you off and as a friend I was greatly worried for your well being more than anything.
  20. Finally I had good goaltending tonight!
  21. What in the world are you talking about?
  22. Garcia will be in my starting lineup Opening Day...if not free cookies for everyone!
  23. I think Hill rebounds - he's usually a hit or miss, though he's a better hitter than he showed in 2014 (he was pretty unlucky). He's just two years removed from receiving MVP votes and even in 2013 was putting up solid numbers before being plunked in the hand. As for Garcia, he offers a lot of upside with his bat. He's still pretty raw, though there is a lot to like moving forward. Likely going to start Beltran more at the beginning if he's healthy - also like his chances of rebounding and the opportunity for him to put up some nice numbers with that short porch in right field.
  24. Posey - 28 Freeman - 25 Hill - 33 Tulo - 30 Arenado - 23 Brantley - 27 Cruz - 34 Garcia - 23 Napoli - 33 28.44
  25. Gotta post pictures of Remy again...she seems like the answer to calm the thread down from turning into a war zone lol. http://celebmafia.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/remy-lacroix-hot-wallpapers-41-_22.jpg
