  1. Gibbons: "He hit .321 last season, he's too good of a hitter to give up on." Never.
  2. His 4 starts at the end of last season and his postseason performance definitely gave many people the perception that Stroman was an ace in the making, while in reality his ceiling is more of a No. 2 starter.
  3. Chicks dig the strikeout, not the ground ball.
  4. Justin Schultz
  5. Cutting Familia at the waiver cutdown last year still hurts me till this day in both the DDL and FC. I made sure that I didn't make the same mistake again which is why I kept Jeremy Jeffress.
  6. Niklas Kronwall Det - D 
  7. Could add Roy Oswalt to that list as well. When watching Doc, Santana, Lee and Oswalt in their prime, never thought I'd see them all out of the game in their early-to-mid 30's.
  8. I like the trade on your end since I don't think there is a huge difference between Bumgarner and Felix other than age, since both have a lot of innings on their arms. Pollock if he returns to an elite level is definitely a huge upgrade over Gordon who to be honest is maybe a 3OF at best now in fantasy.
  9. I guess I should sell all the shares I own in King Felix.
  10. I have no problem with the Hendricks/Chavez swap. I guarantee you Chavez will pitch out of the rotation at some point and make close to 15-20 starts this season. Better than relying on a Scott Copeland, Chien Ming Wang, Felix Doubront, Ramon Ortiz, Matt Boyd etc. to make a string of starts. Jays needed rotation depth which is something they didn't have last season.
  11. $4 million on Smoak still isn't chump change. I've liked all the moves made by Shapiro this offseason, though re-signing Smoak that early in the offseason is the one I still question. It kind of handcuffed them from searching for an upgrade (e.g. John Jaso) since they were set on Smoak/Colabello at first base that early in the offseason. As well, the Jays probably could have got Smoak for cheaper (arbitration estimates weren't high as $4M). Just kind of a weird move as to why Shapiro panicked into signing Smoak right away at that price.

If the Raps don't make it far into the playoffs, then there is no way Durant comes here. Maybe if the Raps make it to the East Finals, then there is the possibility of a top FA coming here.
  13. Have an extra pair for the Raps tomorrow. Friends dad can't make it, so will sell for face value.
  14. If Dickey settles down and pitches 6-7 innings, I'll be happy.
  15. Can Dickey be optioned to the minors or no? Let Dickey suck in Buffalo, pitch Chavez or Floyd for 15 starts until the All-Star break and then call Dickey back up for the second half. I'm just joking obviously. But if Chavez with his hot first halfs + Dickey's hot second halfs = how much in value?
  16. Should just pitch Dickey in Buffalo for the first half of the season and then call him up in the second half when he dominates.
  17. Anyone want tickets for tomorrow's Raptors game? Have an extra pair that my friend's dad can't use.
