Ah you hope Lowry can take control of the series and that Bis can step up in JV's absence and avoid foul trouble. We saw Bis hold his own when JV was out before during the season.
Yup nailed it.
Seriously what is frustrating is that all the Raptors need to do is beat a s*** team like Indiana, and a somewhat decent team in Miami or Charlotte in the 2nd Round and make the East Finals. Especially without Bosh, Miami would be an ideal 2nd round matchup for a team like the Raps. If Cleveland loses a star player or two, then huge advantage. That is really the only chance of the Raptors winning something.
That's the thing in the NBA - an injury to a key player like Steph Curry could just open things up for any team. We saw that with Cleveland last year (lost Love and then Irving in Game 1 of the Finals). Spurs will have a tough task vs. OKC, though you have to like them now if Curry is out for longer.
Memphis was missing Conley and Gasol, two of their best players so its understandable that the Spurs were just going to walk all over them. The Pistons/Cavs games actually have been close, though the Pistons have always wanked it near the end. Boston/Atlanta has been a good series. Possibly the Heat/Hornets can go to 6-7 games. The game the Mavs won was really entertaining, and yeah they'll probably lose the series.
Wait until the second round - potential OKC/Spurs matchup?! The NHL won't be able to top that one.
Gotta like the SP depth on this team: Hutch, Floyd, Chavez, Roberto Hernandez, Diamond, LeBlanc. Goes to show you that if a starter goes on the DL, they wouldn't be as completely f***ed like during AA's tenure.
Good taking 2 to 3 out of Oakland. Plus Friday's game they showed some fight and almost came back. Overall, you have to be happy from what you've seen from this team this weekend moving forward.
