    You can completely write CarGo off moving forward. I would stay away from him in fantasy baseball right now unless there was a good buy low opportunity available. All I'm saying is that even with his struggles this season, it would make little sense for a team who owns CarGo right now in a deep dynasty league to just drop him on waivers, based on his track record and age.

    Ryan Zimmerman. There's a good chance CarGo might suck moving forward, not denying that. His season has been a disaster, yes. Though with his previous track record and for someone who is still only 32-years old, why would I drop him on the waiver wire and lose him for nothing? I'd still roll the dice on him as a OF3 or OF4 heading into next season in hope of a bounceback in 2018. If he's running with a 50 wRC+ again next season, then I fully agree that you can cut bait. I'm sure there are many teams that would still burn one of their last keeper spots on him.

    Anomalies happen. I wouldn't completely write him off just yet. He was pretty awful in 2014 and came back strong in 2015 & 2016. Even if he'll be out of Colorado next season (which I'll admit won't help), he still could benefit playing at a hitters friendly ballpark like the Rogers Centre, Yankee Stadium, Camden Yards, etc. All I was really saying is that I don't understand why a manager would drop him especially in a dynasty league.

    Include Ben Zobrist, Carlos Beltran, Adrian Gonzalez (has been in gradual decline for last several years), and Jose Bautista.

    There is always a chance that CarGo and Miggy bounce back next season. It's not completely out of the question. Both players were Top 50 assets coming into this fantasy season. If I owned CarGo in this league, I probably would just sit pat and hope he rebounds next season rather than drop him for nothing.

    And that doesn't mean anything in a short 5 game series. Bats could go cold easily. I like the arms the D'Backs could throw out in a short series, which is all I really said. Dodgers on paper are a much better team overall yes, though the D'Backs won't be an easy walkover in the NLDS.

    D'Backs are a team that I'm watching out for in the NL. Love their pitching staff of Greinke, Ray, Godley in a short series. Only thing that scares the crap out of me regarding the D'Backs is their bullpen. Can't believe Fernando Rodney is still their closer. If the D'Backs get by the Rockies in the Wildcard game, they won't be an easy first round opponent for the Dodgers.

    RA Dickey right now is what this rotation could have used. Would rather have him than Valdez and the other crap they rolled out with in April/May like with Lawrence/Bolsinger etc.

    Both players would be nice fits to this roster. Would definitely add balance and some flexibility in case Travis goes down with an injury again.

    Nats are in town when I'll be in Houston, so that should be a good series! As well, the Pats are playing an exhibition game against the Texans! Hoping I could make it up to Dallas to catch a game at Arlington. Never been to the Lone Star state before plus have some friends who live down in Houston, so should be good!

    Won't be going to Wrigley in two weeks. Deciding to go to Texas instead near the end of August. I know I sound like a broken record though if anyone is planning on going to Wrigley to catch the Jays series, I have two tickets to every game. Willing to sell a bit below face as well, so pretty good deal and could save paying in USD and the StubHub fees.
