  1. Yeah and with it being a salary league. I know its garbage (in a 20 team league it's an easy yes lol) but Grossman with his .379 OBP and 500K salary in this deep of a league holds value. I'd rather hold onto Grossman rather than Bush if I had to make a choice between the two. Buy yeah I would still do it regardless.
  2. Fantasy trade question: would you trade Joey Wentz, Robbie Grossman, and Matt Bush for Carlos Rodon? This is a salary 30-team dynasty league I'm in.
  3. MLSE does the same thing except with Ticketmaster Resale. On my MLSE account, you just click one button and set your price to list your tickets.
  4. Sure. Was hyped up as a prospect coming up and hasn't lived up to the billing at the big league level. Had some success in Tampa last season before going on the DL. We've seen guys like Morrison, Alonso, Smoak, Owings, Gennett etc. have breakout years finally, so it could be possible with Franklin given some regular playing time and a new environment. Doesn't hurt to take a flier on him since he's still just 26. Especially with Tulo now on the DL, that means both Goins + Barney will be getting everyday AB's.
  5. It's a pretty big jump over the last two seasons. Even my Raptors season seats haven't jumped that much after their success the past couple of years.
  6. It's Toronto. We both know fans here hop on and off the bandwagon in a heartbeat.
  7. In another dynasty league back in 2010 I traded Bumgarner, Asdrubal and either a draft pick or another pitching spec for Roy Halladay. Ended up winning the championship that season. Asdrubal went onto hit 25 HR's the following season and Bumgarner went onto becoming one of the best young pitchers in baseball whereas Halladay was out of baseball after 2013. Losing an arm like Bumgarner to this day hurts, though I don't regret it one bit because having Doc helped me win a championship that season.
  8. I'm rooting for the D'Backs if they make the postseason. Have a great 1-2 punch with Greinke and Ray and love their lineup with Goldy, JD, Pollock, Lamb, Peralta, Owings, Drury. All they need is a better closer. Not sure how Rodney still has a job.
  9. I never get out that far. I hate driving the 401 which is a mess at all times of the day. Furthest east I get to is around the Danfourth since its along the subway line at least. Would love to see more of the east end like the Bluffs etc. though driving in this city can be a pain haha.
  10. It's been a weird market for hitters thus far. JD Martinez didn't go for much and he was probably the best power bat available (not named Stanton).
  11. Going to the zoo, having a couple of beers & talking baseball with Jay sounds like a perfect afternoon haha. If I do go one day this summer, I'll let you know.
  12. Haven't been to the Toronto Zoo since I was a kid, so probably about due for a visit. Problem is its so freakin out in the middle of nowhere.
  13. Isn't Duda a FA after this season?
  14. Jays basically owned Sparkman as long as they kept him on the MLB roster all season. In essence that would be like giving up Liriano for nothing, only in order to keep Sparkman in AAA. Wouldn't be a fan of this.
  15. He's a lefty that has electric stuff when he's on. I'm sure many contending teams would roll the dice on him as a No. 5 starter or long man out of the BP especially when the cost wouldn't be that much.
  16. Ticket prices are still relatively reasonable for Sunday on StubHub for decent seats.
  17. High price for Jennings, wow.
  18. Because he's an idiot for showing up the other team like that in a blowout. And it's not like its a one time thing - Grilli seems to do that after every inning he pitches regardless of the score. So when Stanton hits a HR like that off him in a blowout, I don't have a problem with him pumping his fists and mocking Grilli because he deserves it.
  19. You can only ride the bat of Jose Reyes for so long until he gets a fluky injury and starts to suck again.
  20. I might be interested. Send me a PM.
  21. In this league, the low .OBP hurts though with the way he has been hitting, you can live with the .300 OBP from 2B/SS especially in a 20-team dynasty league. He's only 23 as well, so you would hope he can improve his BB% as he matures. I've enjoyed riding his bat in the LOD so far. Drafted him during one of the amateur drafts in the later rounds. Can never go wrong with drafting a Cardinals prospect like BTS has always said.
  22. I had the 11th priority. Close but no cigar. Shocked that the other 8 teams before BTS didn't put in a claim. Though like Dinger said, probably not many people check the wire often.
  23. Damn you BTS, which waiver priority did you have? Also, who the hell dropped Paul DeJong to begin with? Shocked me completely. He does have a very low OBP this season but the guy has smacked 14 HR's in only 183 AB's and has 2B/3B/SS eligibility and is only 23.
  24. I don't own any Tigers relievers in any fantasy leagues, so that is a big sigh of relief haha.
