    Yeah the ballpark is outside of the city, but like you said there's a huge parking lot all around and I was thinking that some tailgating does go on before any postseason game. Most bars downtown I heard offer shuttles to Miller Park on game-day.

    Flying to Milwaukee this weekend to catch Game 1 and 2 of the NLCS. Hopefully its against the Dodgers. Never been to Miller Park, but the atmosphere for a postseason game should be electric. Has anyone ever been to see a game in Milwaukee before?

    Marquez, Freeland and Gray (when he isn't being f***ed with) is a pretty darn good 1-3, especially considering those guys pitch half of their games at Coors.

    Arenado, Story, Blackmon, and I would include Dahl and possibly LeMahieu based on his success from 2015-2017. Desmond is awful, CarGo is past his prime, and they have no catcher.

    I'm a Rockies fan but hoping the Brewers win tonight. Looking to possibly go to Milwaukee next weekend for Game 1 and 2 of the NLCS.

    Cleveland is actually a pretty cool city. It has cleaned up a lot and has revitalized. East 42nd Street is pretty awesome before games, West Side Market area is pretty hip and there are a lot of great restaurants and bars that have popped up all over the city. Granted, it's not like Toronto, but for a sports town, it's pretty good. The people there and the fans are extremely friendly as well. I've been down to Cleveland twice for sporting events (Jays in the ALCS in 2016 and the Raptors/Cavs Game 3 last year) and both times have been really fun. Might be driving down this Monday for Game 3.

    If Votto finds his power stroke again, along with those on-base skills, he can be a Top 25-30 player in this league.

    Thought about it and decided to drop those two arms and add Jesse Chavez and Jesse Biddle instead. Gives me another potential option for holds. I'll leave everything in the hands of Rich Hill for today.

    If I drop Sam Gaviligio and Covey, I would add relievers with SP eligibility like Biddle and Jesse Chavez. So they help me possibly in getting a hold (in Biddle's case) and maybe a save/hold from Chavez. Also, would help in my pitching ratios if they don't implode. Probably will have to drop Cody Allen and Anibal Sanchez to add two other RP's to fill up all my RP/P spots who could get me holds and help my ratios. Allen ain't pitching 3 days in a row and Sanchez will be 35 next year. So I either drop Gaviligio and Covey to add those BP arms with SP eligibility + two other RP. Or just add the two other RP's and start Gaviligio and Covey.

    I'm not sure there is a right answer as well. I get your point that I should focus on trying to just flip two categories and probably OBP and K/BB ratio are more within reach if Rich Hill throws a gem and my BP arms don't implode. He could still tie Wins though and flip some other categories even with the bats. The question I have to ask is how much of a negative impact will Gaviligio and Covey have on OBP and K/BB. They can easily go out and throw solid games and not impact those categories much. Ah tough decisions lol.

    I hold the tie break. The score is actually 8-5-1 right now. So I would need to flip two categories to make it 7-7. On offensive, categories are extremely close as well. I'm leading in Hits (46 to 44), BA (.252 to .235), OPS (.792 to .736). Other offensive categories: trailing in Runs (29-25), HR's (9 to 8) and we are tied in RBI (22 each) and I'm trailing in SB (2 to 1). So its all pretty close.

    In terms of saves, his only closer is Jeremy Jeffress (who has pitched 2 consecutive days already). So worst thing is he ties Saves. I have Jansen, Romo (pitched two consecutive days), Givens and Steckenrider as options for saves. Only hold options are Jose Castillo, Richard Rodriguez. Also, have Cody Allen but he's been rocked the past two days, and I doubt Cleveland is using him again today three days in a row, so I might consider dropping him and adding a RP who likely will pitch today and could snag a hold.

    I could use an upgrade over Buster Posey. Who thought I would be saying that this early?

    In the finals right now in another league. I'm losing 9-5 heading into today, though some categories are still within reach. Debating on what I should do on the pitching side: I'm trailing in K's (79 to 69), Holds (6 to 5), OBP (.341 to .337), K/BB ratio (2.93 to 2.56) and ERA (4.71 to 3.43). Leading in Wins (4 to 3) and Saves (4 to 3). I have Rich Hill, Sam Gaviligio and Dylan Covey (picked those last two up as streaming options), starting today while he has Tyler Anderson going today. ERA isn't within reach, though I'm debating whether I should chase K's and try to pad my lead in Wins by starting Gaviligio and Covey. Only down side is if one of those starters suck, it could jeopardize my chance of flipping K/BB and OBP. So should I stick with Gaviligio and Covey in hopes of turning in decent outings or should I just start Hill and maybe pickup an additional two bullpen arms to speculate holds (which is extremely tough)? Thanks!

    Just snuck into the playoffs the last week of the season, which was a close race for that final spot. Knocked out the first place team and won a very close matchup last weekend against the 2nd place team. Knocking out the top three seeds to win a championship was an impressive feat. Goes to show you that even in fantasy baseball, if you make the playoffs anything can happen. Granted, I probably wasn't your typical 8th place team on paper, so would have been a tougher matchup than most but what a run this final month for my team. Plus calling up Acuna and the impact he made was huge. Great season and an honour to win a message board league. Hoping the DDL or LOD are in the near future lol.
