  1. Yeah agreed. I don't think people should assume facing the Yankees will be a walk in the park. They could turn things around by time the Jays roll into town like you said - calling up fresh blood, playing better baseball. Wouldn't want to face Cole and Rodon in a series. Jays should be able to win 2 of 3, but don't take those series for granted.
  2. If this was the League of Despair, I would be distraught. Since it's the DDL, I'm still moving on with my day.
  3. I was hoping it would be forgotten especially if it was the Hurl enforcing it. I would have liked my odds. Spanky is probably going to write it down on a piece of paper and keep it next to his bedside every night until the end of the season.
  4. Spanky during his spare time - studying the League rules:
  5. Definitely felt like one of the biggest wins of the season! Great way to start the series!
  6. Lets go Varsho!
  7. Mike Baumann sucks!!!!
  8. Brandon f***in belt!!!!
  9. Wow damn Bo!!!!
  10. Jorge Mateo sucks!
  11. Cavan Biggio will
  12. Did anyone see that Manoah/Springer Mary Brown chicken commercial? I laughed my ass off haha
  13. This late inning corps looking really good. Swanson looked extremely sharp! This offense better score some runs.
  14. Anyways, going to go outside on my patio, smoke a cigar and drink an Innis & Gunn. I have a TV outside as well, so will tune in haha. Great joining everyone during the GDT! This was a lot of fun! Now lets score runs and win this game!
  15. Yeah I would try Richards more in that role, as a guy to put out the fires in the 5th, 6th or 7th innings when need be. See how he does in that role.
  16. Richards looking good! He needs to be our Andrew Miller in the Postseason!
  17. I really don't have an answer. But yeah if you're going to play a BP game, go to your best guys if the situation calls for it, even if it's in the 5th or 6th or 7th inning. Ideally I wouldn't have pulled my starter given he was only at 81 pitches, has been dominant to this point and you were still winning 3-2. Kooch was working his way out of this and that BB wasn't a bad walk at all in that situation.
  18. Grayson will likely finish under 100 pitches and complete 6 innings. Now bullpen management for the Orioles will be easy. Asking your BP to start in the middle of the 5th inning is always asking for trouble. Kooch has been great this season, let him get out of that inning especially when he's only at 81 pitches.
  19. If this was a WC game, I would have went with one of the high leverage relievers. Need to give yourself the best chance to get out of that jam.
  20. Grayson likely going to complete 6 innings. Orioles will have their elite BP arms lined up for the rest of the game.
  21. Lucky the Jays left that inning tied 3-3! Now the bats need to score some runs! If the bats go silent and do nothing, we're screwed!
  22. Whether it's Schneider or the FO, they can't expect to do this in a Wildcard series every game. Especially when you have Gausman, Berrios or Bassitt on the mound. It's a tough task to ask a bullpen to close out a game from the 5th inning on especially against an elite team.
  23. This is going to be the issue with this club if they go to the bullpen early against good teams.
