  1. I wish this was Bet365, I would be cashing in!
  2. He's even still available in the LOD.
  3. I think the HR derby will do him good. He hasn't hit many HRs in the first half so hopefully the Derby wakes up his power in the second half!
  4. I'm down for that! Would be a great way to end the first half!
  5. Just was saying the schedule wasn't as easy as it seemed before and I was getting so much hate for it lol. Nothing is ever easy in baseball and we can't assume the Jays are going to go on a huge run because they're all of a sudden playing teams below .500 haha. The team didn't take advantage of what was considered an easy schedule before the All Star Break. Hopefully they can do some damage against the White Sox and Tigers and end the first half on a strong note.
  6. Jays are 7-8 so far which was supposed to be the start of the easy part of the schedule. Even if they win 2 of 3 in the next two series against Chicago and Detroit, that's 11-10. Not good enough.
  7. He just needs to have sex as Buck Martinez would say.
  8. Everyone should be fired!!!! Start the rebuild. Trade Bo immediately!
  9. I bet the Jays run line today and Gausman for over 8K's! Lets go!!!!
  10. Anyone planning on driving to Detroit next weekend?
  11. They have to replace Chapman at 3B. Replace the value Belt, KK and Merrifield have provided in the lineup. 4 key bats right there. Hope that Manoah bounces back or have to replace him with a solid No. 2 starter. Hope that Vladdy can improve and return close to his 2021 form. Hope Gausman still pitches at an elite level and doesn't lose a beat. Springer needs to stay healthy and be a 3-4 WAR outfielder. Hope that Varsho can take the next step forward. Hope that Kirk can bounce back and return close to his 2022 form. As for the bullpen, which is always volatile, hope Romano still gets the job done and other guys like Swanson, Pearson and Mayza don't implode. Not trying to sound negative or anything but have to factor in a lot of things. They still likely are a Wildcard contender next season, though it will be a busy offseason which should be fun to watch and they will need to make significant improvements around the roster to take this team to the next level.
  12. They likely aren't trading him this offseason though hopefully the FO lays some ground work on signing him to an extension, so they could build around him for the next decade. If they can't, it's something that needs to be explored as they approach closer to his free agency. A lot can happen over the next two seasons. This team might even look worse with an aging Springer, and Bassitt and some key pieces leaving FA like Chapman. Who knows if Manoah rebounds in 2024 and 2025. As well, Gausman right now is at the top of his game, though there is always the chance for slight regression. So a lot depends on how this FO compliments the core next offseason via trades and free agent signings. Obviously if this team is a 100-win team and they look like World Series contenders, Bo isn't going anywhere in 2024 or 2025. But if they float around mediocrity or can't take that next level from a 90 win team in 2024/2025, it's better to get some assets in return rather than lose him for nothing.

Raptors going be mediocre again next season keeping the status quo. Maybe win between 35-40 games and have a chance at a play-in. Only way they can get a superstar is if they trade for one (which they won't entertain moving Barnes) or they draft a superstar.
  14. Geez Vladdy at 1 point is awful value. Yikes!
  15. July 2 Bichette - 1 Point Vladdy 1 Point - Omar Varsho - 2 Points - spanky Springer - 2 Points Belt - 3 Points - JohnHavok, JaysBlue Chapman - 3 Points Kirk - 4 Points - jaysallmighty, Dylan Merrifield - 6 Points Kiermaier - 7 Points Off the bench: 10 Points
  16. I just know he lives somewhere in Northern Ontario haha.
  17. So far the Jays are 7-7 into their easy part of the schedule. Disappointing if you ask me. This team needs to play better. Hopefully against Chicago and Detroit they could win 5 of 6.
  18. Try to sign Bo to an extension this offseason. If they can't, you need to move him before he becomes a FA. This team is a borderline playoff-caliber team right now and could be worse. I want the Jays to sign Bo to an extension, no doubt, but from a business and baseball perspective, if you can't resign him, they should try to get some assets back.
  19. Jays should try to extend Bo this offseason. If they can't, then they need to explore trading him.
  20. Grant is hibernating in a forest outside of Thunder Bay.
  21. Yeah not as many sellers with so many teams possibly in it for the Wild Card spots. AL Central: Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals AL West: Oakland Atheltics NL East: New York Mets, Washington Nationals NL Central: St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs (possibly) NL West: Colorado Rockies San Diego Padres should be sellers but won't. Anyone intriguing from one of those teams?
  22. Yeah doubt Belt ever hits 30 HR's. Chapman has before and is capable. Varsho has the potential to hit 30 HR's and he should do it hopefully sometime over his next 4 years here.
  23. July 1 Bichette - 2 Points - Omar Vladdy - 2 Points- LTBF Varsho - 4 Points Springer - 4 Points Belt - 6 Points - Jonn, JaysAllMighty Chapman - 6 Points - Dylan, JaysBlue Jansen - 6 Points - Abomination Biggio - 10 Points - Mphenhef Kiermaier - 14 Points Off the bench: 20 Points
  24. Paxton pitching so figured was going to be tough. Like the Jays for the rest of the series.
  25. Yeah Bo definitely worthy of starting. Would rather have seen Bo or Franco over Seager starting. Good to see Vladdy at the HR derby, but he's not worthy of starting. Could make the case for Chapman but he's slowed down after his hot April. Hopefully some of Vladdy, Chapman, Merrifield and KK make it as reserves.
