  1. I'm going to pretend Toronto is leading the AL East right now since if they went 12-1 instead of 1-12 vs. Baltimore and Boston.
  2. Agreed. They could have went 1-12 against two other teams as well, so regardless. This team needs to start playing better period if they want to make the Postseason. So far, given the talent on this team, they've been a disappointment.
  3. July 5 Bichette - 1 Point, LTBF, JohnHavok Vladdy 2 Points Springer - 2 Points - Dylan Belt - 2 Points Chapman - 3 Points Jansen - 3 Points Biggio - 5 Points - JaysAllMighty, Spanky, JaysBlue Merrifield - 6 Points Kiermaier - 7 Points - wilko Off the bench: 10 Points
  4. I bet on the Jays money line tonight. I encourage everyone to do the same! Go Jays Go!!!!
  5. I mean last trade deadline all the Jays had to show for was Anthony Bass, Zach Pop, Whit Merrifield and Mitch White!
  6. LMAO they are. Look at the standings.
  7. Gausman came up with the Orioles haha, doubt they would have brought him back. But yeah, better than saying they missed out Bassitt so will give you that one haha
  8. Their long term outlook looks very promising with the young core of positional players they have. I don't see why that is an issue or the problem with saying that.
  9. I mean would have Bassitt really moved the needle for them? So far Gibson has had a better season, plus they aren't on the hook for 21M per season with Bassitt for 2024 and 2025. Orioles really needed to sign or trade for an ace/No. 2 starter.
  10. Gibson has given up 5, 6 and 4 ER in his last three starts. Coming against Seattle, a really hot Cincy team and the Yankees. He still has almost double the WAR at 1.5 than Bassitt does 0.8 up to this point. 4.05 FIP as well so his ERA should finish closer to 4. Bassitt's FIP is 4.84 currently. So even with the bad stretch by Gibson, he's been the more valuable arm in the first half. Not fanboying him at all, but on a one-year contract he was a solid signing. Orioles should have got more pitching though no doubt. Gibson obviously wasn't enough lol.
  11. Yeah they've really struggled this past week. Pretty bad, but even still they're 49-35 so this cold streak hasn't really hurt them much in the standings. I still see them as a Wildcard team, but not a lock for the No. 1 WC. They definitely could fall anywhere between #1-3 or even miss the Postseason by a couple games. They need rotation help ASAP.
  12. It's a shame. Coors Field is a really beautiful ballpark.
  13. Detroit shouldn't be too tough of an opponent on paper but yeah if he gets lit up or is erratic against them, doesn't look good. Hope he can give the Jays at least 5 innings, 3 earned runs or less with a 2:1 K/BB ratio at least.
  14. Cowser getting called up by the Orioles today.
  15. I'm contending but yeah, figure once Sale comes off the IL, he could be a nice addition to my rotation if he's 100%.
  16. Would you trade Cody Bellinger for Chris Sale in a 20-team dynasty league? I know what Terminator's answer already is haha.
  17. Yup and imagine if the Jays miss the Wildcard by a game or two. Definitely would be on the FO.
  18. I heard last night. Geez tough week for the Angels. Everything blowing up in a matter of days.
  19. Nice win. Bet the Jays money line last night and paid off haha!
  20. Ohtani should take his talents to Miami. Marlins should trade for him this month or sign him in the offseason at whatever amount.
  21. I've always liked their starting rotation. Their bullpen has been solid as well with Scott (1.2 WAR), Puk (0.8 WAR) and Floro (0.7 WAR). Okert has sick K rates as well. Lineup wise was never a fan but they've been getting an elite season from Luiz Arraez and Soler has hit 22 HR along with a 1.5 WAR so far. Jazz has missed some time due to injury as well I believe. They could use another bat or two. If you said Alcantara was going to have a down season, wouldn't have thought in the world the Marlins would be 13 games over .500 at this point.
  22. Good thing the Angels have this guy to replace Trout
