  1. They probably would, but when I mentioned Arenado's name on here back in the summer, his contract came up as an issue. He's getting paid $35M in 2024, $32M in 2025, and $27M in 2026 and $15M in 2027. Colorado still paying $5M each season from 2024-2026, so Jays would technically be paying $30M in 2024, $27M in 2025 and $22M in 2026 out of their own pockets. He's coming off a down year so I don't think the Cards could ask for much if anything they might eat some of the contract. Arenado is a bit risky unless you think he could still provide a couple more seasons of 3-4 WAR. If he posts another season like he did in 2023, he likely becomes a dead asset. I would trade George Springer for him straight up. Move one bad contract for another. Springer is owed $24M each season till 2026. So a total of $72M over the next 3 years. Arenado would be owed a total of $94M over 4 years. If the Cards gave back some money in the deal, something I would consider.
  2. Great analysis. Let's see your list now please!
  3. You need to hire a new medical staff to keep your guys healthy.

Yeah Leafs are middle-of-the-pack kind of team. Not upper tier like Boston, Colorado, Las Vegas or Dallas. They have elite top talent in Matthews, Marner, Nylander and Reilly, but the rest of the roster is lacking which is a shame. If they can't put together a Stanley Cup team with that elite core they have, not sure they ever will. It's going to be tough to have a core like Matthews, Nylander, and Marner together again. Need to take advantage of them now when they're all in their prime and at the top of their games. MLSE likely doesn't care though. The Leafs still sell out every night even if they're losing and they sells jerseys, shirts and hats etc. You think its frustrating being a die hard Jays fans, imagine what die hard Leafs fans have gone through haha.

Raps win 2 down in Texas. Tonight was the best I've seen the Raps offensively. Siakam finally had a big game.
  7. Or Colorado Rockies or New York Mets haha
  8. Paris is overrated. Hope you visited other places in France.
  9. Post it meat!
  10. He could be. As a last bench piece, would welcome him in open arms. Think he would be a great clubhouse presence as well, as much as I hate using that term.

I do small bets of $5, $10, $20 all the time. I deposited $100 a month ago, and got my account up to $600 now. Would rather make small bets here and there rather than blow it all. I'll make the occasional big bit here and there, but I don't do that on a regular basis. That $5 bet bought me a 6 pack of Mill St. Organic. Not complaining at all.
  12. Come up with your own Top 50 mate and post it on here! Can't wait to read it!

Lol you really are concerned about whether or not I made a $5 bet. You need to get your priorities in order my man!

Haha I just did a $5 parlay on Tampa and Boston which paid $25. Calm down.

Glad Bet365 gives you an early payout when a team goes up by 3 goals haha. Kept my TB/BOS parlay alive at least or else would be screwed.

Geez Leafs always play bad on a Monday.
  18. Yeah as a LF/DH he could be intriguing. He offers more power than Teo, LGJ, and Pederson.
  19. Let's trade for Soto as well. Just imagine haha.
  20. If the Jays managed to sign Ohtani, would you make a trade for Soto as well? I mean why the F not! Imagine a lineup with both those guys!
  21. I don't see Hoskins signing a 4 year/$60M contract and wouldn't want to sign him for that as well. He likely signs a one-year deal + an option to build back his value again. He's a 1B/DH type. Wouldn't want to lock him up till he's 35. I think he would be a great fit in this lineup though. Jays need a masher who could hit 30+ HR's.
