Yeah a lot of QBs out long term this season it seems. Sucks to see that. Browns are 6-3, have one of the strongest defensive teams, yet lose both Watkins and Chubbs for the entire year.

He's 36 years old. I like JDM but there is a chance he doesn't come close to repeating his 2023 season. If he comes on a 1-year deal worth around $15M, not going to complain though. -

Didn't I say only if the Jays can't bring in one of the top 3B available in free agency or via trade? I never suggested the Jays go out and sign JD right at this moment. Obviously no team is signing Josh Donaldson in November. -

He signed that contract with the Minnesota Twins after the 2019 season. Yeah he either retires or he signs a cheap one-year contract to play part-time somewhere, similar to Evan Longoria last offseason. -

Not saying for him to act all cocky like he was in 2015 and 2016 during his MVP days. His toughness and experience definitely could help and rub off on some of the other players here. As well, he was always a fan favourite in Toronto. There is no risk in signing him to a cheap one-year contract as a bench guy to split time with someone like Barger or Biggio if the Jays decide to go that route and can't get anyone better. -

Just was a suggestion if the Jays decide not to target one of the top 3B available in free agency or trade for someone. So yeah obviously he's not my first choice but if the Jays decide to roll with someone like Barger/Schneider/Biggio at 3B, Donaldson wouldn't be a bad option to bring in on a cheap deal as insurance or to split playing time with. The Jays clubhouse actually could benefit having a player like Josh Donaldson around. -

Wouldn't mind bringing back Josh Donaldson at 3B to share time with some of the younger guys if the Jays can't bring in anyone better. If he gets around 250-300 ABs as a part-time 3B and DH/bench option, not bad. I think his personality would be a perfect fit for this clubhouse. Think he could definitely make a positive impact in that respect. -

Stanton looks like he is completely toast. He was one of my favourite players back with the Marlins coming up. Looked like he would smash 50-60 +HR's every season haha. Hasn't been able to stay healthy and now at his age, his skills are eroding. He's lucky if he cracks the Mendoza line and stays healthy to hit 25 or so HR's. Unless the Yankees ate his entire salary, wouldn't want him.

Bills are 5-5 and their next four games are against the Jets, Eagles, Chiefs and Cowboys. Season is definitely on the line for them. They can't afford to go 2-2 or 1-3 over these next 4.

Season tickets haha. As a Bills fan, Allen has been super frustrating given his talents and skillset. He's not the smartest QB out there and an elite QB needs brains. Allen sometimes doesn't have one. I'll take the experience of Mahomes, Burrows, or Hurt in the NFL Playoffs/Super Bowl any day over Josh Allen.

I think the Raps were like 8 to 1 after being down around 20 after two quarters when I checked. I was thinking of putting down a couple of bucks on them because it was a 2-7 Wizards team and in basketball a team could get hot and could come back from a 20 pt deficit if enough time. Wish I did instead of the damn Bills game.

Money Line now at 1.41 haha. Glad I made that bet at 1.86 a couple minutes ago. Wish I put some more down but oh well. In-game betting sometimes is better than betting before the game.

I wasn't buying the Bills hype and Josh Allen hype at the beginning of the season like you were. Allen isn't an MVP this season bud haha. Unless he takes the Bills 8-0 the rest of the way. Bills now a 1.86 Money Line, so put $15 down on them.

The Thursday Night Football game was awful haha. They figured they would put Aaron Rodgers on SNF tonight, but that injury in Week 1. Boring primetime games this week. MNF tomorrow shouldn't be bad, but Bills should kill the Broncos.

Was contemplating putting like $5-10 on the Sharks last night haha. Figured they had to get their first win and what better team to do it against haha. Oilers have been awful this season, like what is going on? Stanley Cup contenders s***ing the bed. NHL really needs to get McDavid out of Edmonton.

Goldy would be a perfect target as a 1B/DH bat. Only one year left at $26M. He wouldn't cost as much as Alonso or Soto in a trade, but could provide similar value with the bat if he bounces back. Still posted a 3.7 WAR with a 122 wRC+ last season and is one year removed from a 7 WAR and 176 wRC+ season in 2022. Goldy might be a better target since you wouldn't have to trade someone like Tiedemann and comes with less commitment than someone like Arenado does.
