  1. I know it's only Sunday April 5th, but this feels like a must-win game. Need to feel good and have some confidence heading into the Dodgers series this week. Don't want to come back to Toronto being swept in Chicago.
  2. Yeah always feels like the Yankees dominate right out of the gate. Jays seem to heat up in May/June. Just survive April.
  3. Jordan Romano looks like he's back. Still small sample size, but great to see. Happy for him.
  4. Jays need to get Little sorted out before the Dodgers series, so he'll get an inning to work out some things again today 😂
  5. In the division, you don’t want to dig yourself into a hole too early. There are still more than 150 games left, though, so a lot can happen between now and October. Are things looking great for the Jays right now? Not really. This was supposed to be one of the easier stretches of the schedule with the Rockies and White Sox, yet you’ve already had the Kirk injury, lost an arm in Ponce, seen some key bats scuffling, and watched sloppy defense out of the gate cost them a few games. It also doesn’t get any easier from here, with the Dodgers coming to town followed by a nine-game road trip through Milwaukee, Arizona, and Anaheim. At this point, the Jays just need to keep their heads above water during this stretch and stay above .500. Hopefully they can take care of business against the White Sox today, which feels like a must-win heading into the Dodgers series. After that, you’d like to see them beat up on the Twins next weekend at home and then handle Arizona and the Angels on the west coast trip. And sure, it would be sweet if they could take two of three from the Dodgers, but realistically, you’d probably take one. If they can come out of this stretch still hanging around .500, there’s no reason to think they can’t get right back into the race once the schedule turns to May and the bats start clicking. Just survive April, get hot in May, and suddenly you’re right back in it.
  6. Well good news is that Little is likely unavailable today haha.
  7. Pirates walk it off against the Orioles in the bottom of the 9th!
  8. Me and Brownie19 have been getting along for over a year now.
  9. Bet the Jays now to win the division and win the World Series!
  10. If the Jays didn't start Fluharty as an opener, they could have used him instead of Little!
  11. You took over for me. I was the one they were venting at like two-three years ago lol.
  12. It’s still too early for all the doom and gloom. The Jays just need to take the next two against the White Sox and head into the Dodgers series at 6–3. As for the lineup, it could become a concern later if a few things all go wrong at once - Vladdy not showing much power, Barger hitting a sophomore slump, Springer regressing, or key injuries to guys like Varsho or Kirk. But that’s basically a worst-case scenario across the board. It’s still early, and the lineup needs some time to settle in and start clicking on all cylinders.
  13. I dropped Paul Skenes in fantasy baseball. Picked up Joe Boyle.
  14. Jays schedule gets tougher after with the Dodgers coming to town. Important they head into that series with some momentum and playing well.
  15. Let’s just hope the Jays don’t miss out on the division by 1 game haha. But yeah agreed a lot of baseball left.
  16. I bet the Jays when they were down 3-1 and paying 4 to 1 odds. Glad I cashed out after they tied it.
  17. 2 years around $20-25M AAV I think is the sweet spot. Don't think you need to paying Gausman anything more than $25M per season.
